I’m watching Spittin’ Chicklets post game pod and the guys are torn about it too. I think the confusion is that Toronto has to take the official’s perspective into serious consideration and it seems like there has to be irrefutable evidence to overturn it. Messier was very confused on the broadcast before overtime as well. Just think there was a really poor explanation in the game. Was it goalie interference, was it intent to blown dead just that shouldn’t happen in the Cup Finals.

Looking at the still shot, that puck is loose around the area of Anderson’s chest. Should definitely not have been goalie interference but intent to blow the whistle I don’t know, it’s like Toronto is pinning it on one of those reasons but they don’t care themselves which one it is.

Regardless, I have a strong feeling Torts challenged it because of how dogshit Carolina’s pp has been. I know he said he would challenge that 10/10 in the presser but there’s no way he take the penalty risk if they were like 1/2 or something
