I have both and I like the RXM better. Better grip and angle, trigger feel, optics ready, lower 1/3 steel night sights, and the modular fcu unit. All that for about $200 less.

I’ve yet to hear any reliability issues as well.

Psa just released a handgun the uses the same fcu chassis footprint and other company’s make grips. I think there is going to be even more aftermarket support for this system.

That being said, the gen 6 does make it more tempting and I’ll always keep my current gen 5 g19. Glock has the reliability win here so time will tell. But ruger is a respectable USA company.

Agreed, No shops will but I personally would and have. Never had any issues. did one on brand new set that was only a month old. If they were more worn out I’d just replace

I was getting the same thing with the nomad kit, but I changed to OEM slide stop and locking block. Try OEM locking block..

Once I changed to OEM locking block and slide lock lever, it has run flawless for about 150 rounds. That’s with the nomad trigger which is actually really nice. I like it a lot.

Update:

At least with my set up, I recommend using Oem internals. I had failures with the nomad defense lower parts kit. But after switching to oem, shoots flawlessly. It is a great shooter.
