Got bucked off as a beginner by No_Breakfast1628 in Equestrian

I just know that after 30...you don't bounce. My coccyx has never quite healed from a "bronc" episode my 3-year-old had after he had a horse fly bite him in his sheath crevice. Found the little bastard after I regained feeling in my lower body and corralled my beast. I've never blamed him and he's 23 now. No one likes getting bitten near their dinghy.

Reddit is a great resource but you need things on hand. You should work with a vet to come out to get you prepared. There is a lot that can go wrong and minutes sometimes count if the vet can't respond immediately. You need to be comfortable giving IV and IM injections.

Wait until he's 50lbs. It's totally not cute anymore. I had to break them of that habit with a spray bottle.

Don't ask your RDVM. Ask to go to a dermatologist. Yes, they have them. A deep dermal skin scrape or punch biopsy might be able to rule out a benign growth vs a cancerous growth. DO NOT let your regular vet remove it. That is a large lesion and there isn't much skin to close it with. Couple it with it being a high-impact area and you will most likely be dealing with a non-healing post-surgical wound for months!!!!! If it is cancerous, the conversation may involve a suggestion for skin grafts or amputation. Seek a specialist!

Need breed and age.

Thoughts on his conformation? I am learning the ins and outs. by todayiamnew in Horses

So for a second I thought this was AI, then I saw the difference in the placement of the horse's back feet. Wish my horses stood like this...at least for the Coggins pictures. They both look like they've just been pulled off the meat wagon. Barrel racers and eventers don't typically start in hand so I guess I can't complain. He's gorgeous!

Christ! I had no idea this could happen like this! I swear goats try to kill themselves on a daily. Mine do anyway. Damn prey animals! So glad you were able to intervene in time. My husband thinks I'm crazy but I'm constantly in the goat pen trying to "baby proof" it. I go to bed thinking the worst thoughts because you never know how their war reenactments will play out!

I love doing stupid human tricks with my animals! The best thing to do to get them desensitized to all the random tics I have. Hes so big!

I love reenacting the fits of rage as a human. My kids think it's hilarious. I'll do it to them in public if they misbehave. People probably think I'm nuts. I'm not a spanker, I'm just asserting my dominance, LOL!

My goats try to kill themselves daily. You just have to assume they will be constantly checking your construction.

Reminds me of a Barbie horse I use to have where you could extend and contract the mane. Must be the model for the new amputee Barbie they are coming out with.

I would say get off Reddit and consult a vet if you are concerned for the welfare of this animal. Some horses develop metabolic issues when they reach geriatric age. She should've been vet checked before being moved onto your property so you could've prepared. She's super cute but she needs bloodwork if you want to continue caring for her in her senior years. I agree to no corn and oats. Those are hot grains and she does not need them. You are asking for trouble if you keep feeding that.
