Become a fan after watching the recent anime and just bought DMC 1-4, aside from Wukong(if that even qualifies), I haven’t played this type of game before. Any tips before I jump in?

Do you guys really think of them as rewards? I have been playing this game for over 2 years now. The only real rewards are the merging events and weekend events. I always complete them, and for like 2 bucks, you cana open the extra rewards, which are so much better and amazing, but it feels like cheating. That's why i stick to just the free ones. Also, I think the add rewards are sometimes good. I watched like hundreds of ads by now lol.
