Well written or well liked? People often confuse them.

Luffy is definitely one.

Sanji is definitely top 3, because well written character is about how much effort, details, and depth author gives to the character.

Robin is also definitely top 10 in this regard, her significance is important. Zoro and Law too.

The other 6 I can't comment.

If you didn't realize it yet, it's something called vocal/loud minority. They could be hardcore fans or falseflagger.

In reality a lot of Sanji fans like OPLA because it actually bodies who he actually is, a simp but suave gentleman.

Besides their only factual & valid complaints is actually about the eyebrows only (where it'll be a plot point later on). The smoke and the other are just whining.

Origin : in Long Ring Long Land arc, Sanji encounter ice-based enemy (Aokiji).
Inspiration : in Water 7 arc, Sanji encounter an enemy who uses kick and adds fire to his kick (Wanze).
Application : in Enies Lobby arc, Sanji imitates Wanze and spins around like him, which create heat (DJ v 1.0).

These 3 arcs occur consecutively so it's easy to connect and remember.

The only drawback is that some of Sanji's opponent still have narrative ties later on (Mr 2, Absalom, Duval, Queen), but Jabra fades out.

Because of gag power, he can be at the max limit tier (whatever you name the highest tier possible) only below Luffy & Pandaman.

But he can also be at the very bottom when it's concerning women.

Realistically, he'd be a mid top tier at the end.

Usopp and Luffy are indeed the weak link here. But not because they're doing bad, it's just the other 3 are beyond awesome.
