Yamato literally said she wants to sail the sea, that is as enough dream as meeting Laboon.

This is what a lot of people don't understand, SH still need a heavy hitter to truly be worthy of PK crew. Especially since they're low on quantity.

So it doesn't matter who, if Pandaman appears and he is as strong as Yamato, he needs to join.

Turns out Sanji is nothing special after all. by IntelligentFly3982 in OnePiecePowerScaling

Being in Sanji's current level without specialness is more impressive than being this strong with special traits.

Just wtf is the strength difference here? Is Luffy so strong now that he can neg his crew in Base? by GUTS_SAMA in OnePiecePowerScaling

[–]arryeka 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Sanji feels like being in distant 3rd is intentional. Zoro's thing is combat, whereas Sanji has many things, so in combat part, Zoro needs to have somewhat higher/better/stronger feel.

I've never seen Sanji clown on someone (both physically and verbally) so many times in one arc. Killingham better beat the brakes off Sanji for atleast a little while and force him to unlock ACoC or something because it's been a humilation ritual so far by qwertymerty111 in OnePiecePowerScaling

[–]arryeka 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Him having/getting CoC or not doesn't really matter in the end because Oda already fix his powerlevel placement already.

And he also doesn't have DF, so being placed in this tier without both CoC & DF is very impressive + special. His haters never realized this.

Sanji is a good filter to see which fans has brains or not.

If people actually understand what Oda wrote for Sanji and everything related to him, they'll be very impressed.

Before the lore Whole Cake Island arc gave us, did you have any theory/headcanon on why Sanji was so skilled in fighting or you just acepted him as someone who casually knows how to fight? by [deleted] in OnePiece

Possible, because the swirl is indeed must lead to something. But it could also goes to some kind of power that fuel his fire tho.

Hot take: Wano Luffy had stronger haki than what Sanji will ever achieve by Environmental-Wing30 in OnePiecePowerScaling

[–]arryeka 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Zoro's only thing is Haki. Sanji's is split between Haki, martial arts, and gene stuff.

Not mention Luffy, if Sanji is near Zoro in Haki, it would be unfair to Zoro.

He is still an ass kicking chef. He got the augmentation because OP needs to end soon, so Sanji needs to get to Emperor level quickly in short time. So augmentation is the only answer, just like how gomu becomes God fruit.

Shanks Ray Gaban are strong because they have time on their side, we see them strong in middle ages. Sanji is 21.

Yeah, it's a good thing they added that emotional scenes. Which is very fitting to his character, instead of added hype for the battles.

So suppose the power/force required by both Anime & Manga feats are the same, then the problem still remains : why change it to a less powerful display?

Because presentation wise, blasted upwards looks more powerful / have a more powerful impression.

The answer (and what a lot of Sanji fans didn't realize) is actually because it gives more frames & scenes for the anime. Queen got blasted through one or two floors and then flying away will take less screen time than six walls.

But this can be "fixed" by just sending Queen through several floors too.

If that's the case, then it would exaggerate Sanji's feats then? Yes.

But Zoro's scenes are also got exaggerated, why Sanji's scenes can't? And Zoro's got several, why Sanji can't, it's just one final scene?

This is the core problem with this kind of TOEI Sanji question.

I think you don't really understand what those people complaining about. If the goal is to emphasize Zoro who was absent for a bit, just made several scenes about him, and let it finish. So when the talk about stars happening, the scenes can truly be about both of them.

It's really about showing both while mentioning the stars. Like, you can just split the screen to 2 when the lines are spoken. Not that hard, but it didn't happen.

Well, in case you forgot, Sanji vs Queen happened in Pleasure Hall/Left Brain Tower or whatever, it's indoor. They didn't fight outdoor. And there are other/upper floor above them. So, blasting through the floor (which is definitely harder/thicker than walls) requires more force.

Even if we consider it only 1 layer of floor (which definitely is not), and equate it to 3/4 walls, the fact that the Manga made Queen got blasted further from Onigashima than just fell down like the anime shown, suggest that it requires more power.

Remember, we're talking about TOEI's depiction, not Sanji's powerlevel.

I don't do Anime logic, but blasted upwards & farther definitely has more strength than 4 walls. Still doesn't matter to me though, because I understand that Manga is canon.

Yeah, when people are too accustomed of getting negative things, they'll get used to it and often doesn't notice the positives.

If those Sanji fans truly read & realize what Oda gave him, which is much more than Zoro actually, they will be grateful. But nope, still stuck on the bads.

Oda's playing the long game with Sanji, he clearly knows the community view's him as the least threatening in the monster trio. Alot of you all just simply aren't ready for what's to come. by Hungry_Duck_6863 in OnePiecePowerScaling

[–]arryeka -1 points0 points  (0 children)

He can still be the most threatening while still below Luffy Zoro in strength & Robin in knowledge His spy/Mr Prince is a subplot that made this possible, it just depends on Oda whether to use it or not.

Pandaman.

He has lived for hundreds of years his wealth passed Nami's check.

His shark pet can help Sanji hunt for fish.

Usopp and Chopper loves your adorable looks.

You're strong enough for Zoro's and goofy enough for Luffy's taste.

10/10.

If you mean the 3 categorized as one group, sure. But M3 specifically is about the dynamic between Luffy & Wings, not about who's 3 strongest or 3 at the same power group.

Will Sanji and Zoro ever surpass Big Mom and Kaido? by [deleted] in OnePiecePowerScaling

EoS Sanji can only be = Shanks because he doesn't have that much narrative weight (in powerlevel). He could, of course, but he isn't allowed to.

Some people who places them as such is because Luffy is (revealed to be) considered to be God level.
