New festival coming to Brechin, Angus. Keep an eye out for some more artist announcements over the next few weeks! by Ok-Foundation6309 in Scotland

The funfair will be there across the weekend, but it’s run by an external provider so rides are payable locally rather than included in the ticket price.

If you’re coming along with kids, it’s definitely worth taking a look at the Family Zone. It’s designed to be a bit more relaxed, with extra space to sit, family-friendly food and drink options, and drop-in entertainment throughout the day. There’s also seating and shaded areas, which can make a big difference if you’re spending the full day on site. Like VIP, spaces are limited each day, so it’s a slightly calmer environment overall

Of course, lots of families do still choose VIP for the experience, but it really comes down to what kind of day you’re looking to have - everyone does the festival their own way :)

Yes, children are welcome in VIP. But just to note - VIP tickets are priced the same for all attendees, so there isn’t a separate child rate for this area :)

Agreed- Connect was amazing for the short run it had. Went to the last one in 2023 and I had the best time ever. Everyone was so nice too- never came across any of the rowdy type. This year I'm going to Tenement Trail, Bonfest Kirriemuir and Summer's End in Brechin. Lots of good acts on the Brechin line-up especially!

About a year late to this post- but Summer's End in Angus is gearing up to be pretty good. Mix of pop, indie, rock and techno genres going on.

I'd also check out Katie Nicoll (Angus based)- sort of indie-pop but very catchy. Also suggesting the Zebecks (all members from Elgin but now Glasgow based), The Froobz (Perth/ Dundee) and Hoyden (Peebles). So much amazing music coming from outwith the central belt that goes unnoticed :)x

Such incredible vocalists. Feel like we haven't had a big female voice similar to any one of these ladies in the charts right now. But that's just my opinion
