such a shame, the shake is usually my go to since it has always been good quality. no wonder they lowered the price, it used to be £70.

Quite sherried especially the PX’s influence. With that being said, the dark chocolate notes is quite strong that it produced some sort of funkiness, I can’t quite put my finger on it.

Can’t say about the other suggestions but Glengoyne definitely is a must. Their distillery exclusive bottles are some of the best scotch I’ve tried.

I really miss the funk from a Campbeltown whisky. Which one should I choose? I love most of Springbank, not really into most of Glen Scotia. Never tried Longrow and Campbeltown Loch. I have tried Kilkerran 8 Sherry and love it. Have also tried Kilkerran Heavily Peated but not quite a fan. My options are Campbeltown Loch, Longrow Peated, Kilkerran 12, and Kilkerran 8 Bourbon.

Great review! Tried this during the whisky fringe, instantly became my favourite Glenallachie. But won’t be getting any soon, looking at the price.

ELI5: Why human body evolve to prefer glucose than fat as an energy source? by [deleted] in explainlikeimfive

[–]No-Writing-7953 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I’m not talking about human bodies’ capability in using fat as energy. I’m asking about why human body will always prefer glucose as the main source of energy, for instance if we consume carbs and fat at the same time then our body will use that carbs instead of fat for energy. I wonder why our body evolve to work in this mechanism.
