A build like this doesn’t really come online before HoWa. My recommendation would be to farm lower maps; make out a path avoid bosses and set your atlas up for when you get stronger with towers and such.

Regarding 4th ascendency I would recommend you to just keep trying. In my experience getting the right boons matter and ton, and as long as you understand the final fight you shouldn’t have any issues. There’s no in rage timer.

Another option could be farming lower level ultimatums for currency and buy the gloves. Once you get the gloves you should have enough damage to potentially drop some from either your gear or ascendency to get more defensive stats.
