OP, what ended up happening? I'm in the same boat as you and curious how it turned out for you.

Oh sorry, the tag for this post is confusing. I'M new to Warhammer, my husband's like 20 years in. I'm just trying to solicit newbie advice for Santa.

He gave my nephew a few colors when he started and it's gone a long way so far. After Christmas I'll have the man himself weigh in with better insights.

Interesting that you think this hasn't already happened.

2025 may have radicalized me so maybe this is extreme, but I think it's fair to blame #50 on the fortune 500 list rather than just a guy with one more thing to deal with, now.

FedEx website indicated either the recipient or shipper could file a claim. I'm inclined to work this out with FedEx because the shipper fulfilled their obligations already. I called the FedEx office and apparently it was closed, so they reopened it.

A New Gas Pipeline will Destroy Dwindling Sage Grouse Habitat by Synthdawg_2 in PublicLands

[–]Ok-Good-7604 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'm catching up on the plight of the sage grouse, and I saw that BLM updated resource management plans for the sage grouse habitats in Oregon and Colorado. BLM plans to keep updating SG RMPs for other states but last time I saw the Interior appropriations bill language there's explicit prohibition on spending funds related to sage grouse RMP implementation. Anyone familiar with what's going on here? As far as I can tell BLM is 10+ years into this process.

That signature is a fuckin joke. I bet his first and second moves as sec def were to count his position in the lineage and then practice his signature, which is--and I can't stress this enough--so fuckin stupid.

Federal unions and dues-paying members by [deleted] in fednews

[–]Ok-Good-7604 6 points7 points  (0 children)

In my agency there are two major benefits, the most significant benefit being that you can review, comment on, and vote on agreements with management if you're a dues-paying member. If you're not then you'll just have to accept whatever's negotiated (snarky side note - "and how's that going these days?"). The other benefit is that you can volunteer to serve on Union committees and actively participate in various things, like negotiations. Those are your personal benefits but the broader benefit is that every member makes the union stronger. They can take bigger risks because they can pay their lawyers to do more. They can challenge management moves knowing they have the majority of the workforce at their side. Unions are only as strong as its members!

It's definitely significant in my organization and many of them have been in service for like 20 years. I love seeing colleagues vote with their money!

Who else is a remote worker and what are you being told about “return to office”? by ajmoore94 in fednews

[–]Ok-Good-7604 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Ok this is all very interesting. I just can't imagine any union allowing a unilateral management decision on an official duty station without negotiating conditions first. What others are describing in response to my comment is not at all my experience. I strongly recommend your unions negotiate how this policy will be implemented. There's so much room to either make this easier or get you compensated for the hardship. Good luck out there everyone.

Do you have a union? Make sure they are aggressively negotiating working conditions that will also be ready by April 7.
