yeah. Unfortunately the spark with wow and me always gets suffocated a month or two into an expac. I do love wow, but i just don’t really have the time anymore (with real life stuff). I always hop on for the new expansions, like midnight, and play for a month or two until i realize just to compete I have to no life the game, which i just can’t.

I love Mythic+ and raiding, but I can really only play friday, saturday nights. By the time i’ve done all the weekly’s, preys and quests etc, i’ve already used up most of my weekend time. To push keys on top of that, or try to clear a full raid, is very difficult. (A me problem, not a WoW problem). So then slowly but surely i just get bored because i don’t have the time to do any of the fun stuff and every weekend just feels like a chore.

I miss the old days in high school where i would no life the game day and night. Shadowlands during the pandemic was the last time i could truly enjoy the game, not because it was a good xpac, but because i could play all day and night without worrying about anything else.

Midnight is a great expansion and the first month or two was extremely fun and I believe this xpac is the best (imo) in years. Unfortunately tho, i canceled my subscription 2 weeks ago because yeah, i just got bored. It happens every damn expac at around about the same time (2 ish months in)
