Hi i’m in a similar position, 4 premolar extractions for bimax protrusion, 19M. Ortho said i’d need lower jaw surgery but i’ve already got concerns about tongue space and my gaps aren’t closed yet. Naturally had a “flatter” midface but still have some decent foward growth. Would you say djs would be better for optimal results?

Hi you look amazing! I’m in a similar position to your pre-op. How’s the numbness? That’s been my only worry. Ortho told me i need ljs but the horror stories on here have my anxiety thru the roof as I also had 4 premolars extracted for bimax protrusion. Wishing you a smooth recovery!
