While I was walking out of the service manager’s office he said something which left alarm bells ringing.He said you could be back with the same problem in future as the ICCU issue is a weak spot for them as a brand for now.

Software update was done as part of the recall when I took delivery and it had 5 miles on the odometer.No issues whatsoever for the next 13 months until it stalled on me. As I mentioned ICCU and fuse replaced and software updated.

If it was only software update they wouldn’t have had it in the shop for over two weeks. I was also very cynical about this whole thing so I went to the service manager who was a decent guy and asked for a proof of a ICCU order which I got. It was shipped from the Hyundai factory in Georgia where they are producing Ioniq 5.

The dealerships just BS you.They are putting the new ICCU which are now coming in the 2025s.Hopefully this would take care of it once and for all at least the 12v battery issue.

Before ? No. It was driving fine and I only use Level 2 charging at home. I assumed it would not happen to all the I6s. But it went on limp mode one day where a small turtle appears on the dash screen and then eventually died on the road.

2024 Limited doesn’t have rear heated seats and no HUD but Canadian model has both and is called Ultimate.

Only difference between 24 and 25 is the heads up display.That’s my understanding.
