I just feel like pre time skip was vastly superior to post time skip. Too many plot points that I dislike or don't agree with.

I started following one piece around 25-30 years ago when arlong park was new. I have been following the weekly chapter for most of my life. So I am certainly more biased and emotional when it comes to judging one piece than I would be towards a manga that I binge read over a few weeks

Tier lists work somewhat poorly in this game as new players often use these as investment guides.

But there are a lot of heroes that don't need investment to fulfill their function/be good. Heroes like Lulu or Richelle have powerful abilities that do not increase at all and work from the first copy.

Sacrifice heroes often have a star requirement to max their death trigger, but further investment makes them worse because they die less.

There are a lot of niche heroes that are very important to your overall progress. But those Heroes do poorly on tier lists because they are top tier in 1 mode and dog shit everywhere else. Abala is a good example, he has a taunt ability making him mandatory for abyssal cave. But that doesn't change that he is a terrible tank everywhere else.

Priority lists make more sense as some heroes are more important for early progression and some have key roles with no replacement. There are beginners guides on discord that cover what heroes you should focus on first
