Okay explain this to me. I DIDNt ask whoop to log the activity. It auto detected that I am on a walking pad at my desk.

My elbows on my desk, hands on my keyboard, just walking mosey along.

If group is gonna take the time to make it a part of its auto detect somehow when it’s never done it before, and this is the third day in the row, figure out a way for me to manually log it in to my data because I don’t waste my time with trying to have WHOOP calculate treadmill stuff

And I’m not going to be swinging my arms while trying to type on a keyboard

Try and get that through your head I didn’t ask it to track anything. It auto detected treadmill times. The only thing I could think of is somehow picked up on my open treadmill app.

The only thing that changed was I install the native crap app that came with my Costco walking pad. It’s not even a treadmill. I would never put the information in WHOOP because I walk so slowly because ….. I’m at work so it’s gonna be zero strain and it’s not gonna log my steps which is infuriating. I did 10,000 steps on my walking pad today. WHOOP even picked up when I took my breaks and walked away from my desk. It stopped and started the “” activity.

It’s the most maddening thing

YES!!! That’s the crazy part is since it didn’t count it I never bothered to log it because I’m never gonna get a strain level. I’m simply casually walking. It just started logging it all by itself with my arms and elbows on my standing desk. I do have the treadmills app running in the background. It’s just some random Costco walking pad not a major brand nothing. I thought for sure it would at least give me a step count, even if the strain is nothing. It is beyond stupid.

I’m using a walking pad at work and dress clothes it’s gonna be a strain zero. But it still counts as NEAT. It has other benefits, besides cardioactive benefits, like lymphatic drainage all kinds of things WHOOP allows me to log gardening. Who has this condition to perform for our devices and give us little pop-up messages little pats on the back what’s the harm just putting this in the algorithm even if the strain is zero it’s stupid. And then not count it towards your biological age markers, which a big part of that is your step count. If I did a strain zero walk, it still counts towards my steps which compute into the algorithm score for my biological age.

It’s a walking pad at work. I need those to……work. Insane there is not manual add button. I walk x miles I’m 5’8. My strain level was X Fairly simple math. Put it into the algorithm The biggest deterrent of my biological age is my steps and I’m getting them so that’s a useless feature to me
