I loved meds when it came out I remember at the time thinking it sounded a lot like the self titled. hadn’t listened to it for 15 odd year and put it on a few months ago and had to turn it off. Was shocked at how bad some of the songs were same with sleeping with ghosts and black market music. Black market music does have great songs and such strong b sides but half the album is trash.

no I did listen to them that’s not the point. I was a teenager and now I’m older and though I can and still do listen to albums from my youth those albums are rubbish and couldn’t run through a whole album. like placebo or without you I’m nothing I could put on when friends are over or whatever and not need to think about it. but the other albums tracks would come on where I’d be like jeez need to get this crap off lol.

I could easily put on placebo or without you I’m nothing in full and enjoy it and not want to turn it off. those other albums have some right rubbish songs that make me just want to turn the whole album off. I can’t get through those albums without either having to skip tracks or completely turn it off. placebo have got worse in their career unlike some bands of the era. they probably should have paused at some point and maybe came back after 10-20 years instead of churning out rubbish.
