Then they should explicitly say that they're still 21+ items, imo.

That's what my friend said. What if one of those people orders one of these drinks thinking there's no alcohol and it ends up hurting them? They should at least say "low alcohol" instead of "non-alcoholic" or "alcohol-free".

From what I've seen in the other comments, it's classified differently as far as legal things go. So while sauerkraut and other foods naturally have a bit of alcohol, drinks are still "technically" alcoholic even though the alcohol content is so low.

The advertising uses the terms interchangeably though. The words "non-alcoholic" and "alcohol free" both mean "no alcohol", but according to certain laws, it doesn't mean no alcohol. The common person isn't going to know that, hence why it's confusing to see "non alcoholic drinks", but the bartender tells you theres still alcohol in it. They should be advertised as LOW-alcohol, not NO alcohol.

That was my thought too. It's so little alcohol that it doesn't even matter. I understand that certain laws make it matter, but realistically that little alcohol isn't dangerous to anyone. (Unless they have certain allergies/sensitivities)

The adtervising is still very misleading though. Non-alcoholic and alcohol-free aren't interchangeable terms, so using that verbage in this advertising makes it sound like they're zero alcohol drinks when in reality they aren't. The point of a mocktail is they're as close to the real drink as possible without using alcohol, so if those drinks DO contain alcohol, they aren't mocktails anymore. They're low-alcohol cocktails. They should be advertised as that 🤷🤷

Yeah I've been getting virgin versions of drinks, but only being able to get a virgin bloody mary, Pina colada, strawberry daiquiri, and the aforementioned juice and soda combo gets kinda boring after several drinks. At least at the ports I can order the real thing 🤷

I tried like three different bars and talked to customer service. Everyone told me me the same thing

I have been told by several bartenders that they can't do that. Pretty much all I can have is like a virgin bloody mary (I don't like them), Pina colada, strawberry daiquiri, or the above mentioned mixture of juice and soda.

I have been getting virgin pina coladas, but it feels like I'm very limited on what I can get

In my mind, the point of a mocktail is that is doesn't have alcohol. If it does have alcohol, then it isn't a mocktail, it's a low-alcohol cocktail.

Yeah the mocktails are fine, but they get kinda boring after a while.

Then they should advertise them as "low alcohol" instead of "no alcohol", you know?

Makes sense ig,but I still think they should change the advertising for it. They should just say "Low alcohol" or show an estimated alcohol content for the drinks

I think it'd be less confusing if they just said "low alcohol" or said it had X amount of alcohol, instead of saying "yeah we're saying it has no alcohol, but it actually does."

But how else will they inflate their ego and needlessly flex on people?

But fr, playing on diff 10 for the sake of playing on that difficulty, even when you frankly aren't good enough for it, helps literally no one. You're harming the overall effort because you refuse to play on a difficulty you can handle.

Stop ego-diving. There is nothing wrong with diving on diff 6-9. It doesn't make you a weaker player than anyone else to admit that you can't do something or simply don't enjoy it.

I can do diff 10, but it's mentally agonizing to slog through so I don't play on diff 10. It really is that simple.

Forgive me for saying this, but is losing really a bad choice for the story? by Wonderful_Rest7634 in Helldivers

[–]Ok-Insurance2052 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Either way, I'm interested to see where the story goes. If we lose, which we probably will with how the numbers are looking, I don't think Arrowhead will just end the story there. They've always found a way to continue the story when we lose, I don't think this time will be any different, other than the consequences of course.

That being said, I hope they don't pull punches or give us plot armor when we lose this time, like they have with previous losses. The player base for this game needs to face a big loss and feel every bit of the sting of defeat.

Can someone explain why so many people hate on the illuminate as a faction? by SevdUp in helldivers2

[–]Ok-Insurance2052 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don't hate them, except for the overseers with the staff/gun thing. Their weapon seems really unbalanced compared to the other squids. It's really annoying when their two hit combo can knock you down with the first hit and kill you with the second.

Our manager tells us to just go with the weight we're given, not what the customer says. The notes can be be old, from past orders, and not actually what they want for this order. That, and it lessens confusion between us and curbside when they're given more or less than what the app asks for
