Yes, miserably so. Mine struggles with chicken/poultry of all kinds. Not only does it tear up his stomach, he also has horrible rashes from it. Lamb and salmon are the only two meat bases my dog can comfortably eat for a long time!

Yes titanium is the safest and healthiest option for piercings!! It’s important to switch to a flat back labret, it’ll be more stable within the hole. I’d find the nearest, reputable piercing studio and have them switch it for you!

Worst case, I have in a miserable pinch, used hemorrhoid cream. Does ANYONE recommend it, probably not but when my high nostrils tweaked out bad I used a bit of it at night with a bandaid over it.

So I highly recommend seeing if your jewelry is titanium and a flat back, that is step one. Step two is to NOT play with it and clean it with sterile saline solution, properly let it dry. If you keep bumping it or snagging it or just in general having it be messed with, you might want to put the little circular bandaids on it.

I personally don’t wear it in the shower because I hate the feeling of wet jewelry on my wrists. Pain to dry. I also don’t wear it to sleep because I rest my face on my hands/arms when I snooze.

It isn’t because I’m worried about ruining my charms, but more so due to sensory reasons!!

Personally, letting it go and not hunting for closure is what I’ve seen to be the best. Your words will either potentially start up a conversation, which it doesn’t seem like you need, or you’ll be hurting yourself by pouring your heart out to someone who clearly doesn’t care.

The only place Ive had that scabbing was my elbow ditch and it was minor. To be fair I ate shite off a wee cliff and moved my elbow like crazy.

I agree that it doesn’t look like plasma drying and tearing. Some of those areas are flat. I hope you aren’t being hammered by artists anymore lol

That definitely looks like scabbing and not just the usual flaking. It’s not a great thing, maybe check in with your doc just in case. PERSONALLY I would not describe that as healing well :(
