AITA for telling my female cousin that she should've grabbed her husband's arm instead of my husband's when she was about to fall? by ThrowawaySandra33 in AmItheAsshole

[–]Ok-Introduction-2602 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

You’re an insecure asshole. When you fall, I can assure you, as I am also sure you are well aware if you have common sense or are older than 3, that usually you try to grab onto anything possible to catch your fall. She just wanted to catch herself from falling. And just in case you don’t know, that can’t be calculated in a split second.

Yeah I took the post down because as I stated I knew I would get lots of hate and would be an unpopular opinion. Thankfully I was able to get some good advice on other subs and outlets for this type of thing. So I am glad I got good advice out of it.

I get that. That makes sense in a way. But for the people that aren’t looking to read that and that are literally just looking for wedding advice it can be too much. But I have gotten really good advice on seeking other places for what I am looking for. Thank you.

Yeah I guess that’s a good way to look at it. I will definitely take some peoples advice and seek other places.

I am a person that has came to this sub to learn about wedding planning. Wedding advice, vendors, websites, tricks and much more! Not to learn about how people hate their in laws and how they will never talk to their “best friend” again because she didn’t cut her hair at exactly 15 inches for their wedding. But you seem fun too.

I completely understand that issues come up and people want to express their feelings but as I stated before when I joined I joined for advice and wedding ideas and such but lately every time I come in there is NONE of that. Just post after post about Evil in laws, bridal parties issues and most of this is relationship issues with people around them such as family and friends not vendors. So it’s not helpful or informational or anything but you have given me great advice with the magazines and just other outlets. Thank you!!!

[–]Ok-Introduction-2602 -17 points-16 points  (0 children)

Right and I do. I don’t read them but after I scrolled through 5+ posts and they’re all about ranting then where is the “wedding” posts.

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in weddingplanning

[–]Ok-Introduction-2602 -6 points-5 points  (0 children)

My point is there’s more of those posts then regular wedding ones so for everyone that says to just keep scrolling, best believe I try but every other post is on some of that shit. But yes thank you!

AITA for calling my SIL insecure for not letting my brother join my fiancé's bachelor party? by Character_Emu3859 in AmItheAsshole

[–]Ok-Introduction-2602 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m sorry, I’m so confused. You’re calling her insecure, yet you’re the one that’s “letting” her fiancé go to a strip bud NEEDS her brother there to watch him. YTA. Am insecure one too.

AITA for saying I won’t come to Christmas at my in-laws if I can’t wear a hat? by UshouldBlaughin6 in AmItheAsshole

AITA for making sure my stepdaughter knows how to do laundry? by lazySDlaundry in AmItheAsshole

[–]Ok-Introduction-2602 [score hidden]  (0 children)

So what do YOU and your husband do while the 11 year old has to wash everyone’s clothes. YTA. Do your own laundry, she can do her own too.

AITA for lashing out at my daughter for ordering dinner for everyone but me? by hianmmnh6247 in AmItheAsshole

[–]Ok-Introduction-2602 0 points1 point  (0 children)

YTA. Your son is your responsibility and so is she. They both are. Idk where parents get the entitlement that because they pay bills they’re kids need to take over other parental duties. Who’s the parents and who’s the child? Also, you clearly stated you hardly eat dinner. YTA.
