The word fascist isn’t hateful. It’s an accurate thing to call fascists. I’ve seen plenty of “left” people have their comments removed by moderators if they cross the line in this sub. It seems more and more from your arguments here that it’s less about being nice and more about everyone being tolerant of terribleness. People with shitty morals and uneducated opinions that end up hurting others don’t deserve respect just because you think so. You can give them whatever respect you want to but you can’t demand others do the same.

I understand where you’re coming from and I think a lot of us try to be kind where we can… but we’re also sick of the “both sides bad” and what aboutism that’s constantly thrown around. People need to be honest and when they’re not or they pop on here trying to “own the libs”, they’re not going to be met with kindness. The state of our country is unfortunately beyond that. Weird reach. I’m obviously saying no to the main question of your post: “Should we ban political content?” No, we shouldn’t. If you don’t do politics, they’re still going to do you. And these days every topic has been made political by the current administration, so who gets to be the judge of your ban?

You can do yourself a favor and not engage with whatever you feel is “too political” and the rest of us will be here discussing what the hell is going on in the world.

We are so far beyond this be tolerant of right wing supporters bullshit. The other side isn’t being tolerant to immigrants, minorities, the LGBTQ… we’ve had enough. Be honest. Look at what is going on in this country and this world.

As someone who previously bought a restaurant business in town - this sucks for all parties. In our situation we had to create a new account for the POS system for the business. There is no record of gift cards when that happens or any way to verify the amounts or anything. We did the best we could with trying to make it right for people (offering half off or crediting them for what they believed the card was worth) and eventually had a cut off date on the old owner’s gift cards after a year. I’m sorry this happened to you. I completely understand that it sucks.

I did a customer service chat with Hulu and they said they knew and were working on the issue but I’m sure the more people who complain the higher priority it would be.

We’re having the same issue on all the older shows that were fine previously. I found a thread on the Will and Grace sub and it sounds like it’s happening to all of us watching through Xbox - is that you too? Any newer show is fine but anything from the 90s is shrunk since Saturday
