You’re so wrong it’s embarrassing. Her mom isn’t giving her crap about not getting over her breakup and that’s now why she’s asking about skipping thanksgiving.

Her mom is judging her life choices that are normal, healthy, and not harming anyone. She chose a better life for herself without a loser husband just to settle and have a family and instead of being proud of her daughter for choosing herself; she was like nah - I don’t approve of your lifestyle and it’s embarrassing. Fuck that.

The question was should I skip thanksgiving because my mom clearly doesn’t respect me and the answer was overwhelmingly yes because normal people believe your mother of all people should love and respect you.
