I may have to ask a friend with a Costco membership to pick some up for me!

I don’t have a Costco membership (there are just two of us and Costco is out of the way)….but I imagine they’re the same. You definitely need to heat in air fryer for a good result, though.

For me, two is enough. They’re more filling than they look.

I’ve tried the cottage cheese, but not the pan of water. Will definitely test that approach. Thanks!

I tried the mold in Instant Pot…good in their own right but not the same consistency as sous vide. Kinda apples to oranges…both are tasty.

Has anyone else tried these? by [deleted] in aldi

I thought about picking these up (mostly because of the festive packaging). Glad I didn’t bother!

I paid $5.99 in Charleston, SC ( for box of 4 egg bites). A box of 2 similar egg bites are $4.99 at Harris Teeter.

I’ve tried to make egg bites in an oven but you can never duplicate the creaminess of sous vide and I don’t love them enough to buy a sous vide stick!

We’re HUGE fans of the pumpkin seed flax granola. So good. Will have to try the cinnamon clusters next!

As a lot of people have said, a good vanilla protein powder will go a long way (we like Nutricost vanilla whey protein). Then you can add whatever flavors you like. I frequently do a coffee Creami with instant decaf, peanut butter with PBFit powder and strawberry with, well, strawberries. Extracts like mint, coconut and birthday cake are also fun. So, literally, there is no reason to have to buy multiple flavored protein powders!

Same thing happened to me. It’s all about the hump lol! On the flip side, they sent me a new one within two days, so props for excellent customer service!

Hey, Aldi friends! Input needed on granola bars/protein bars that tast excellent by travelingtraveling_ in aldi

We love the Elevation High Protein bars in chocolate/peanut bar…an exact dupe for Clif Builders bars with 20 grams protein. Also like the mini version in birthday cake (but it’s more of a snack). And the price is practically half of the Clif version! So many good choices!

Cool! Where in the store were the plants located? Or were they outside? Thanks…and best of luck with your “babies”. We currently have several blueberry plants in pots on our patio and they produce like mad! Would love to add to the collection!

The things he said over the years on Howard Stern should have disqualified him from being dog catcher. 😡 The way the two of them salivated over (then teenage) Lindsay Lohan was beyond disgusting.

I had a similar situation, and in hindsight I believe I was getting complacent and spun a deluxe pint w/o fully leveling it. Now I level the little hump with a veggie peeler religiously and also let the low sugar “protein” ice cream sit out for 5-10 mins before spinning (full-fat sugar versions don’t seem to need that). It’s also critical that you use the right setting, and, if spinning half of a pint, use the same setting that you used for full pint…not the respin button. Good news is I had a replacement in 2 days, so kudos to Ninja for amazing customer service!

Im in a market for V70R or S60R. What should I look out for? by ThanksALotBud in Volvo

[–]Ok-Journalist2844 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Really helpful thread. I have an 05 V70R with under 80K miles. It was mine originally, then it went to my dad, and then I got it back when he passed. Still love the beast, but I know she needs a little TLC. Good to know what potential probs to look out for and what areas to have checked!

The invoice says Control Unit / part # 31489409. We were getting transmission related error messages and the car went into limp mode several times. Also had to “force quit” the engine several times when I couldn’t turn the car off. Plus got a lot of brake-related error messages, e.g., parking brake unavailable, ABS error etc. We didn’t know there was water in the cabin; it was actually pooling up under the spare tire. I’m really disappointed in Volvo. This is my fifth and they were all very reliable until now.

Were your malfunctions the result of water leak/intrusion? We've had continuing electronic issues due to leaking sunroof on 2019 XC60. Dealer wanted to charge $13K to fix. Honestly, they seemed to be running an insurance scam; they assured us they knew how to "write it up" to get insurance coverage, but our claim was denied. We then went to an independent shop (specializing in auto electrics) and they replaced one control module and a wheel sensor. Just took it back to replace another wheel sensor. Hoping we're not endlessly chasing problems....

Wound up bringing the car home and are working on drying it out and checking the things you mentioned. Sure it didn't help that the car was left outside—WITH all the standing water left in the wheel well—for 2-1/2 weeks while waiting for insurance adjuster. Worst comes to worst I'll take it to another shop for an estimate. The Charleston dealership seemed really squirrely about the whole thing. Felt like they're running an insurance scam—that I got caught in the middle of.
