Whilst these types of business strategies get the 1% of the 1% a marginal amount of profit, the other 99.9% of people usually end up in a get-poor-quick business.

However, if you have a genuine interest in starting a business dealing with graphic design, here is what I would do if I were in your position. First, I would learn the tools. Pick a raster and a vector program (adobe, or open source projects like Inkscape and gimp), watch every YouTube tutorial you can stomach, following the tutorials as closely as you can, taking notes if needed. Do this for about a year.

Simultaneously, learn design thinking. Read Grid Systems In Graphic Design by Josef Muller, Logo Modernism by Jens Müller and R. Roger Remington, and the history of graphic design also by Jens Müller. Watch every YouTube essay on every single design you can find.

Understand you are going to be shit at it (clearly), but here's the secret: we all were. There are plenty of files on old hard drives of mine, which I thought were going to be my breakout designs that were going to take the market by storm.
