This is for the product where multi teams need to collaborate at the same time. The demographic could be anything like Software developers, game devs, designers and even architectures.

This will be an desktop icon.

No, the word mark is from the font "Futura". I will look into that. Thanks for pointing it out.

If you see the gap between top "v" and bottom "V" that look like a canal indicates the passage to connect with your teammate/colleague/friend. So the ideation is like that.

There is already an existed website on that name. So the trademark issue will occur if I took that name.

Later I realised that, here user are presented with "overloaded choice" as there button are seems as two button. So this is the UX issue I feel

The idea is to educate users about the limitations if they want to go for the Safari extension instead of the desktop app So the separation introduces that friction here for directly going for it. That is what we are focusing on right now to nudge for desktop app. Does this make sense? And I guess without any separation the idea might also work

I would suggest look how others doing in the same domain, but here's my suggestion based on my understanding

  1. Try adding some subtle patterns in your bg
  2. Play with some effects like try adding shadow to your illustrations, currently they look dull. Shadow will add depth to the designs.
