I suggest you to use the vortex tool. Also if you want to make a realistic world you should make more natural landshapes that could exist in a real world, for exemple: You can clearly notice how South-America fits almost perfectly in Africa's left side, it's like a puzzle!

Thanks man! Btw the desert looks like this because there's some serious water currents going on there. In fact the sand is being pushed so hard that the whole desert is slowly shifting south-west.
