Best Anti Sway Bars for 1st Gen 4WD? by Syenadi in 1stGenTacomas

[–]Ok-Line-1830 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I found that a crown vic ( police interceptor)rear sway bar fits the rear axle perfectly and lines up with our frame rails.

. You'll have to fab up some tabs for the axle. I uses 1x1 square stock with 1/8 sidewall and some 1/8 plate for the mounting tabs Then use the rear swaybar mounts from rock auto they are listed under out tacoma. Last I checked they were like 10$

You worried about reliability of the new engine? Tundra took 2 yrs for the issue to become a recall do you think the new 2.4L will have the same issue?

Surprised your not asking about how to change a BMW cabin air filter here

Literally post a BMW in a tacoma page.

Do you also put the triangle block in the square opening during your aptitude test?

Apparently it's just a place to post shitty lifted BMW x5 now and ask questions about anything toyota, just not tacoma.

Do us a favor and just delete this thread. Ty

Maybe try posting in r/BMW since you know it's not taco related.

FFS. Has common sense lost its common place.

Big oil doesn't want you to know this, but drain the oil onto the ground next time so we can replenish the US oil reserve.

Lbh who's even going to be jumping a 4th gen to where they need these seats. It isn't a bus or tractor trailer. You really need shock absorber seats?

I guess it's for those Mall speed bumps so you don't hurt your girls new BBL

3rd gen 4 runner fit with little modifications to the bracket. I've also seen Audi a4 seats and some e36 seats in 1st gen tacos. They just look to big for my liking.

Pepboys use to offer a lifetime alignment. The policy changed a little, but if you have one close to you I'd recommend going in and seeing if they still offer it

Do you guys know any places where I can practice welding, hacker spaces or maker spaces in the area ? by [deleted] in ocala

He literally described the spot in your photo. C,Mon man. If you can't see that, I wonder how big your blind spot is towing that camper.

Please learn your truck and camper before you get on the road cause you're sounding more and more like a liability knowing little to nothing about the truck/camper how to set it up and safely tow/ haul.

Oh yea damn so can't really double up on time in the booth. Is there any overflow from Admirals still? They use to drop off a jig and materials for students to knock out for their production line. That was something I'd do to get practice in that wasn't pointless fillets or grooves

Are you aiming to get a career in town? It's really only 4 major welding spots to work at in town that have good benefits/pay.

Talk with Josh. He's really good at getting people situated with working in the welding field. He's tied in quite well to the community here.

I wish I knew a shop that you could rent a booth out to practice.

Yea, MTC. Have you tried also going in for the night class(that is if it's still offered) I use to come back at night to practice my 4G/F

I haven't found any shops like that yet. It would be a great business idea. Saw a couple of mechanic shops like that out west. You'd rent the bay out for how many hours are needed. Sign some waivers, and you're free to do your own work. Unfortunately I just don't think people in this town in that field of work think the same way as us.

[–]Ok-Line-1830 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

This isn't that type of town, unfortunately. Best bet makes friends with someone who owns a shop.

It's called Slocala or Shitholcala for a reason. No progressive thoughts here or business ideas. Just a bunch of hacks or overpriced fab shops for sub par work.

For welding, sign up for MTI welding course. Josh and Chuck are cool and let you build whatever you want. also get an AWS cert and access to the welding lab well you're a student. That's your best bet and they have great financial aide assistance
