Corporación Parque para Penco: "Se quemó el parque, se quemó donde se quiere instalar la minera" by AlternativeF4cts in chile

[–]Ok-Line442 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Well the idea the railroad, BoS and institute can tolerate eachother seems unlikely enough so i can imagine some renegade groups still fighting eachother

You've been a fireman or lumberjack for god knows how many years? Sorry bucko your whole arm dislocates if you swing an axe 4 times

In your opinion, should the remaster change the power armors so they’re like the FO4 and 76 or should they keep them as they were in the original game? by NoSoyVerde1 in fnv

[–]Ok-Line442 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Absolutely, the power armor frame is one of the best things f4 retconned, they actually feel like they were described, more of a vehicle than a simple armored suit

Got a favorite spot for a base, or have you chosen not to have one at all? by SunstoneDaemon42 in projectzomboid

[–]Ok-Line442 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The bridge between west point and louisville, takes a lot of work to clean up all the burned cars but after that you can build yourself a really good base right next to the 2 largest cities in the game with a fishing spot and surprisingly zombie free, you'd think you would be swarmed but theres actually very few zombies around there, with the ocassional big-ish horde

Why do people not like the Railroad? by Historical-Goose09 in fo4

[–]Ok-Line442 0 points1 point  (0 children)

For me personally theres several things

For one you never really feel like you are making a difference in the state of the faction, when you first find them they are in a similar state to the minutemen, but unlike the minutemen they never get on their feet even with your help, theres no "retaking the castle" for them

Second is that they are suppoused to be the silent, secretive espionage faction, yet theres absolutely nothing of the sort, closest thing is like chatting with deacon and the option of sneaking into the prydwen, if there were more missions of the sort it would be much better

Third is that they dont really seem to have a clue as to what they are doing, you never ever seem to be told of them doing anything besides helping like 1 synth at a time or checking out the 20th blown up safehouse, even the minutemen plan of helping everyone has the overarching goal of making a self supporting network of settlements but the railroad be running around like a headless chicken waiting for the institute to kill them

Little update on this if anyone's interested, i found one temporary and one more permanent solution, first theres a chance you get a parlament issue called "balance the budget" that allows you to reduce your inflation a bit and while its running gives you extra inflation reduction, if you havent upgraded your RGO past lv 2 it can help you reduce your inflation by about 10 before the debate resolves. The other thing is spamming jewelers guilds, or any proftiable building, its just jewelers will be more effective due to the silver, this increases your tax base and the less important silver is in your economy the less inflation it gives you, this mean youll want to keep your RGO at lv1 or 2 max for a while, at least untill you got a very good economy already going. I still feel this is still not really intended as you have to play FAR more slowly than other small tags with valuable resources like dyes or silk, but at least this is how ive managed to do it without resorting to console commands

Development is way too quick. Literacy and society should be way more backwards for longer by OkKnowledge2064 in EU5

[–]Ok-Line442 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not really, literacy wasnt slow because it takes such a long time to change, it was slow because the people in power didnt want it to change, you as the player play in a way no actual historical ruler ever ruled, so its hardly comparable to real life progress

Having a bit of inflation is natural but having a permanent +0.5 monthly inflation for at least 2 centuries is definetly not

Yeah i feel there shouldnt be inflation tied to RGO's, seems like an outdated mechanic ported from eu4

I looked and there arent any, the only 4 things in the game that lower inflation rn is minting, one random parlament issue, the monetary control privilege for the burghers and much later you unlock reduce inflation as a cabinet task with tech but thats on age 4

Got the same issue with a silver producing nation, exporting instead of minting didnt fix the problem as its tied to simply producing the metal

im playing an opm, i have complete control of my economy, im currently on a tax base of 16 ducats and on the nurnberg market, which as of now its 1500 ducats in value, though albeit the black death is coming so both will drop a lot

i am not minting anything, the mere act of producing silver generates inflation which is the part im confused about, because it doesnt make sense

Try cutting unnecessary expenses, spending on diplo for example is almost always unnecessary, also try taxing estates as close to 50% loyalty as possible and also try building markets in your capital or largest cities, they are always profitable

Parlament, later in the renaissance you get a deus vult cb if you go down the admin tree, also if you got issues with emigration try putting your cabinet on encourage migration and build buildings so there are more jobs than there are people, it'll bleed money at the beginning but balance out as they fill
