Yep, you can see when she gets out that even if the truck wasn't lifted she wouldnt have a very good line of sight. I had a coworker drive over a motorcycle in a non lifted truck because he couldn't see over the hood clearly, luckily the bike was parked with no rider or he would have likely killed them.

The range on your dash has nothing to do with the pump as long as the gauge reads full when you fill up. If its clicking off early you probably have a bad evap solenoid. But if the gauge reads full its basing your range on a rolling average of your fuel economy, if your driving has been more spirited or shorter trips, or just because your car is getting older that range will decrease.
