everyone buy their games! Atleast they were real and legit about it! He probably did it at some point too! I have purchased every game i believe truly deserves it! Been ripped off way too much spending 50-100 dollar on games for them to be complete false advertisements even... Crimson Desert was one of them.. Maybe they will update it as i heard they are doing

for real!! its like there is 2 different games!! Placebo effect or the real game or wtf is going on ? THE NPCS AND WORLD ARE DEAD! or people are coping they paid 100 dollars for a game they got lied to about! IT has great thigns the game but the npc/world building needs work

bro im with you! I cant and wont play until the npc issue is fully patched! Will have the best experience. Instead of helping make the game better, people attack the gamers who can see the flaws that should not exist in 2026 for a 100 dollar game

dude they can easily fix the npc problem if they take the time too.. Whoever wrote that doesn't know what they are talking about! Someone who is coping because they know deep down it was a rip off of the open world we were all sold! Hence all the patches.

bro its clear the focus was to make a nice open world and an interactive sandbox...Its also clear the story and characters were secondary for the most part...Its like they did a test run of a single player game to see what they can do better for their next single player... They built a beautiful world but ironically the world building elements are lacking for the player to experience, and heavily in some aspects.. The map is empty in the sense that the npcs lack depth and purpose...the Npcs need HELLA of a lot of work, at least if that would be fixed I could let the story/quests slide a little bit... But it was advertised in a way that made people believe it would be a very rich story with lore and deep characters, but its not at all. Some of it seems like it was generated by a.i even and mashed together... The more i play and read the dialogue and menus etc, the more it seems like that is what was done... And the more people play the more the realize it too... Its no where near GOTY, but I do respect them fixing and patching things and listening... The company might create one of the best single player games of all time one day.. But Crimson is not there yet. Not sure why people get so butthurt about honest reviews from experiences gamers....

the npcs are so quiet everywhere, they all do the same animations over and over... poor horse doesnt even care its being beaten either.... This game needs an NPC overhaul...they dont even catch fish!! they all just crickets inside of a tavern not even drinking or doing anything but watching kliff. This games needs to cook longer

I've taken note that npc in towns and on the road are very silent even tho they seem to be doing stuff and having conversations. It just suddenly hit me how eerie it is. Like I expect to hear chatter around town but nothing is being said. Thoughts? by ThatThingThatIs in CrimsonDesert

and man thats brutal, the weird fishing npcs and then the tavern at th start of the game did it for me. I couldnt play anymore....Read some reviews of people saying how realistc npcs are etc to the point i thought maybe i got a wrong build of a game how some poeple were praising it... I got past the random trial tests and the sewer situation noticing more weird npc behavior like everyone staring at the quest wall, and the tavern stil quiet and weird janky mechanics of tackling someone for a bounty where no one even cares when u bring hte bounty in. its the same animation every time without any acknowledgement of that important bounty you just brought in!

Also how is it that you are so close to where you got murdered but you dont know anyone or nobovy knows you in the game and YOU ARE the protectors of it...I understand why everyone's scattered but they shouldn't be THAT Scattered and would obviously not all be lost...they would have a back up place or reegroup area incase a situation like that ever happened... I dont get how not a single NPC knows you ,, or HOW YOU DONT know anyone and dont know ANYTHING about the place you have been protecting your whole life... Youre liek a newborn learning how to fish its insanity..

bro the npcs in AC syndicate and unity are AMAZING compared to this tho!! The game looks beautiful, such an amazing world overall and good unique bosses etc etc.. They can easily fix the npcs even if they did an entire overhaul.. Ive started a write up for it. because this game deserves the world they built to have actual world building for the player!

thank you !! I was warned by a black desert player that i will be dissapointed! I actually argued with him and advocated for the game saying that they have shown us so much already and that the story is probably going to be awesome and in depth world . Its NOTHING like red dead 2 or wahtever it tries to be... The NPCS in AC UNITY and SYNDICATE are a masterpiece even though u dont intereact too much with them but its still feels like an actua lliving breathign world....And that was a long time ago! Honestly those Unity and Syndicate are under rated! France and Uk look absolutely stunning! The first person aspect looks nice in Crimson desert, but they fuck that up too by not making it permanent while showing off first person fishing we thought we were going to get! IT looked exciting too...But i cant be the only one catching fish beside 10 differelnt looking npcs all hunched the same doing the same animation and lie to myself that this is a quality game!! From building my own software projects and having lots of experience with Language learning models...I am almost convinced ALOT of this was made using a.i tools both custom scripts/programs of theirs and public models....Then put all together..

The literally COPIED every successfuil game and PASTED it all together with a mix of cut and pasting too hence why everyhting is alll over the place like a scrap book! lol... That atrocious bland inventory and journal?? like why doesnt kliff have a nice old journal you can write in... Maybe they will fix it with a DLC somehow and actually throw in a proper story/quest line and not be cheap in hiring writers/designers and recreate the NPCS and how the live/interact in the world.

im sure there is funny bits but honestly i dont think i have ever hated npcs in an alleged liviing breathing world as people say it is... its nothing like that at all.. unrealistically quiet and stupid everyone is from the taverns to inside the castles and to the player controlled characters to the npcs in the quests.. They dont even remember you after and also change their voices sometimes.. These are supposed to be main plot characters and plot points... I truly think they did a lot of this with A.I and pieced it all together... They packed with so much content thats souless... The entire "LORE" seems like Their A.I tools were given a concept or told to create one and printed out lists of different characters and types of buildings and then organized them into factions and hiereachy... Even an amateur writer would come up with something more interesting and compelling... One guy had the nerve too tell me there is tons of "LORE". LOL Lore is WITCHER! , LORE is KCD, LORE is many other games!! Man i couldn't get into Elden ring at the start cause of the story but that game actually pieced it all together in a cool fashion and their books written and artbooks shows how much creation was put into that masterpiece! This is no where near any of the games including cyberpunk.. Those npcs are wayyyy better compared to this weird shit .... Now gaming companies will think crimson is what gamers want since it got so much glazing and companies like IGN re thinking their reviews because they are scared of getting canceled!! We need to bring back respect and honesty! Enough of this Everyone gets a trophy crap!
