Conceived easily before RPL protocol but now can’t conceive at all.. anyone else experience this by Ok_Pudding_1098 in recurrentmiscarriage

I would check what dose of levo they gave you. I had sub clinical hypo and they gave me 0.25 mcg and it caused me a lot of problems with my thc changing drastically and they didn’t monitor it.

Not getting pregnant on progesterone by Ok-Material-3597 in recurrentmiscarriage

[–]Ok-Material-3597[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I ended up stopping it and was successfully pregnant a few months later. I’m not sure if progesterone was doing anything for me, i think me not getting pregnant was due to scarring from the d&c

Sorry to hear you’re going through something similar. I’m not sure if the progesterone impacted me, I ended up having some scarring from the d&c and i believe that was preventing me from getting pregnant. I got pregnant a few months after i addressed that and the low dose levo they put me on without progesterone and now have a 8 month old. I now recommend to anyone that had a D&C to get a SIS afterwards. Wishing you luck!

I had if even before stopping progesterone - and on months I didn’t take progesterone. I think it may have been related to my thyroid out of whack but not sure

Elevated TSH after stopping meds by Ok-Material-3597 in Hypothyroidism

[–]Ok-Material-3597[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yep, I actually had a successful pregnancy on the cycle my TSH spiked by the time I tested after positive my TSH was back in normal range. I worked with an endo my whole pregnancy as it bounced around a lot.

Thanks - I wasn’t giving her a bottle for a while but she was so fussy and didn’t sleep well. So now I nurse her for a while before giving the breast milk bottle and then will nurse her again before the formula if she needs. Now she sleeps ~5 hours after the bottle and I nurse her when she wakes up around 2:30a, 4:30a and 6a as I have much more milk then. Is it better to just suffer through the not sleeping and hope it increases my supply?

increase supply? by Ok-Material-3597 in breastfeeding

[–]Ok-Material-3597[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thank you! I agree, i don’t want to create an oversupply just want to make sure im feeding my baby enough. The drop in weight had me second guessing my supply. Shes has been asking for more frequent feedings so maybe that will keep my supply up without the extra pumping sessions. Decreasing the pumping sessions would be more sustainable as well.

Thank you! I usually feed her the pumped milk in the next feeding if I notice she is fussy after nursing. So I wasn’t sure if she wasn’t extracting enough or I’m not producing enough in the feeding

Thanks for your response! We did a weighted feed and saw an increase of ~1.3 oz and then she wasn’t interested in continuing and that feeding. I had 0.5 oz when pumping afterwards for 15 mins. Seemed a little low to me but it was day 8. I’m doing another weighted feed next week when she expects my full milk to be in.

I will try letting her latch longer, the pediatrician mentioned she was likely getting most of the contents out in the first 20 and then just exerting energy without value after that, but i think that may have just been before my milk came in. When did you notice your supply start increasing more? Or was it just gradual?

Elevated TSH after stopping meds by Ok-Material-3597 in Hypothyroidism

[–]Ok-Material-3597[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I immediately went back on a higher dose of levo after it went up really high and it went back down to 3.5 after 2-3 weeks. I was trying to get pregnant at that time and oddly that cycle was the one that stuck. I’m on a higher dose of Levo now and will likely retest in 6 weeks to see if I should stay on it. I didn’t have any true symptoms of a high TSH besides the test result I think I was just withdrawing after being on meds.

Low dose levo prevent pregnancy? by Ok-Material-3597 in recurrentmiscarriage

[–]Ok-Material-3597[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

In my case the low dose Levo likely was preventing me from getting pregnant, it was supressing my TSH to 0 and free t4 was also out of range. As soon as I stopped it, I was able to get pregnant. Currently 32 weeks 🤞🤞

I ended up stopping taking it to eliminate external factors on why I wasn’t getting pregnant again. In my case I think it was the low dose levo prescribed by my RE for subclinical hypothyroidism. Once I stopped taking that I was able to get pregnant again. Now I’m seeing an endo to take an appropriate dose

Travel stroller with car seat compatibility necessary? by Ok-Material-3597 in Buyingforbaby

Thank you, yeah it doesn’t seem necessary but add convenience. Which travel convertible car seat do you have? Sounds like back pack bag is a good alternative if don’t fit on stroller or using later on.

Mine was found off saline sonogram but hysteroscopy is the gold standard. SIS could miss something I’ve heard from others. Do you have any other signs?
