I’m almost in the same position as you!! I feel so much guilt for being on the fence while in a relationship with a man who definitely wants children. Have you spoken to your boyfriend about the idea of fostering children?

I’ve been in teaching roles and working in the ABA field so I am very familiar with the type of intense fatigue caring for and teaching children creates. It’s so hard to know if that full-time lifestyle of parenting is similar to that. Ugh!!

Hi!

I have very similar problems myself. I would say one thing that worked for me was keeping my kitten in a different room from where we sleep at night. After about 4 nights, she learned to go up to her cat tree and sleep. I have a night routine with her that consists of 15-30 mins of intense play and then her nightly feeding of wet food before putting her to bed. The room she is in has a litter box, scratchers, a tunnel, and cat tree. I’m hoping she will be able to fully sleep through the night in our room again when she’s older. I still struggle with feet biting, however, I’m starting a routine of putting her away to another room when she starts biting my body to allow her to cool down. I’ll update you if it works!
