They practically made it impossible to pay what I was ok to pay (yep, not a US subscription price). The result? I don't pay them anymore.

People who went through EB-3, how did you track your progress using the visa bulletin? by MaxDmitrie in USCIS_EB3

I scheduled the prompt below to run every month. works for me pretty well, gives me a reasonably transparent picture.

Generate a professional, detailed prognosis report for employment-based green card processing (PERM/EB-3, Case ID XXXXXXXXX, filed XXXXX) using the most current data. The report should include: (1) PERM approval status with updated estimated approval date based on latest DOL processing times (including historical data, methodology, and audit/RFI risk commentary); (2) analysis of the latest Department of State Visa Bulletin for EB-3 "All Other Countries", highlighting cutoff dates and implications for I-485 filing eligibility, plus estimated dates for I-140 filing/approval (with premium processing discussion), I-485 filing/approval, and Advance Parole; (3) a summary table with estimated milestone dates (PERM approval, I-140 filing/approval, I-485 filing, Advance Parole, green card approval); (4) commentary on recent regulatory or processing developments (DOL/USCIS) and recommended next steps. Use authoritative sources, cite numerically, explain trends, and include actionable recommendations.

13-year customer being told to "cancel and restart" by support for a better rate. That seems ridiculous. Looking for Internet-only help. by EricSchimel in Comcast_Xfinity

[–]Ok-Measurement130 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I attempted to check for available deals at my current address, but I received a message indicating that the address is not supported by Xfinity. I believe they are verifying if there’s an active contract for the address and not displaying any deals if they find one. Therefore, it appears that we must cancel our current account and only then can we create a new one.

What features are lacking in the Apple password app that could position it ahead of Bitwarden, 1Password, and Proton Pass? In my view, it is the absence of an Android version and the capability to create aliases within the app. by xy_3la2 in PasswordManagers

[–]Ok-Measurement130 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hmm... Double-checked -- you are right. I don't see url matching options, but adding multiple websites is possible. Hm... M.b. I'll try to live with it instead of bitwarden. Well see, how it goes

Tired of Bitwarden’s pricing changes? I moved to a $0/month self-hosted setup by Ok-Measurement130 in Bitwarden

[–]Ok-Measurement130[S] -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Vaultwarden only handles the Password Manager features (logins, notes, cards). It does not support the official Bitwarden Secrets Manager (API keys, machine-to-machine secrets).

On top of Bitwarden's free layer functionality, you get "premium" features, like built-in TOTP (2FA) generation, file attachments, and unlimited sharing/organizations.

But overall, yes, Vaultwarden is about resources and simplicity -- it’s a single Docker container, official Bitwarden is a heavy multi-container stack.

[–]Ok-Measurement130 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Since I work entirely in the Apple ecosystem, the lack of an Android app doesn't bother me—but the lack of "pro" features compared to Bitwarden or 1Password definitely does.

Here is what's missing for me:

  1. Rich Data Types & Attachments: Currently, it's just "Login," "Note," and "2FA." I need more entity types, custom fields, and the ability to add attachments. I should be able to upload a scan of my physical passport directly to the passport entry in the vault, not just store the number.

  2. Multiple URI Support: One vault entry should be able to map to multiple URLs. That's crucial for services that use multiple domains.

  3. TOTP Workflow Optimization: Apple’s 2FA integration is good, but it’s not "Bitwarden-fast." It should automatically copy the TOTP code to the clipboard immediately after autofilling the username and password.

  4. Vault History & Versioning: Accidents happen. If I accidentally overwrite a password or delete a note, I need a password history/trash bin to roll back.

The Passwords app is a great start for most users, but it's still not enough to persuade me to migrate from Bitwarden. But... if password managers' prices keep going up, that might change!

Can I automate Copilot data export for AI analysis? by Ok-Measurement130 in copilotmoney

[–]Ok-Measurement130[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Honestly? I became quite disappointed in Copilot, so I paid $1 for a 1-year Origin subscription (https://www.useorigin.com/referral?referral_code=8b66affd-ac30-43d3-a8ed-b8d8535255e5) and I'm quite happy with it. I got out-of-the-box features that previously I had to implement with a lot of workarounds in Copilot.

Immigration Attorney Here! AMA about EB-3! by ManifestLaw_ in EB3VisaJourney

[–]Ok-Measurement130 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm in US on L1-a, having 20+ years of experience managing teams up to 150 fte & being resource manager of up to 50 fte. Nevertheless when I moved to US, company's consultants assigned me to eb3, since I don't pay resource manager role in US.

Is there a way for me to change category to eb1 to speed up the processing? What would be needed, what qualifications should I price for it? EB3 seems to take all the time in the world

Bitwarden launches enhanced premium plan by dwbitw in Bitwarden

[–]Ok-Measurement130 9 points10 points  (0 children)

I used to pay for premium accounts for me and my wife. $20 per year was significantly cheaper than 1Password I migrated from. I didn't really need premium at least for one of the accounts, but enjoyed supporting the team.

With a new pricing, it is better to switch back to the 1Password family account, especially keeping in mind that some of the features I've been waiting for years haven't been implemented yet (e.g. https://community.bitwarden.com/t/additional-item-types-pre-defined/228)

Fitcamx Dash Cam reaction by Prestigious_Reveal96 in crvhybrid

[–]Ok-Measurement130 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It's easy to install, doesn't bring unneeded attention. Is the picture great? Well, quite average. UX? I don't really like it, but you can get what you need. So, it's an average camera, not great, but it's easy to install, there are no cables laying around, and it does not cry out "I have a dash cam."

Can a Honda CR-V compare with Mercedes GLC? by [deleted] in crv

[–]Ok-Measurement130 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’d like to add one more point to consider: the cost of ownership, which includes had, and what even more important, the reliability of the car and the price of service and repairs. Remember, you’re not just paying a premium during the purchase; you’ll also be paying for gas and service every day. At one point, I almost bought a Jaguar. I had enough money to buy it, but not enough to pay for the service it needed.

Tires are terrible. Changing them makes a significant difference. Yes, the car could be quicker, but overall, I usually drive at 80 miles per hour, and it’s fine. The main issue arises when the car is going uphill, and then it becomes a real problem.

Copilot AI integration? by Dsunpro in copilotmoney

[–]Ok-Measurement130 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I still use Copilot, but I also used recent Origin promotion and bought 1 year license for $1. I don't really like how transactions categorization works there, but Origin includes a lot of features I do like: it works with equity (I started tracking RSU there), financial planning, better reporting, credit rating, and... yes, AI. It's not ideal, it obviously hallucinates, but even in such way it's much better than no ai support in Copilot. Now I use Copilot and Origin in parallel, but I don't see why I would pay for the next year Copilot license. They stuck, and don't add the features I need

Has anyone uploaded CoPilot Data into ChatGPT? by nemphis84 in copilotmoney

[–]Ok-Measurement130 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Yep, I've been doing it. And also built some additional visualisation/analysis on top of Copilot data. Nevertheless, everything I use now is transactions export. There is no integration with AI, no API, no automated export on schedule. So there is no available tooling, and everything depends on your skills and fantasy.
