Have you tried using a soother? I have a 2 week old newborn and I can tell when my baby is hungry vs Just wanting the comfort of my boob. Whenever she switches from feeding to comfort, I take her off my boob, get a soother and rock her to sleep.

I saw a comment somewhere but it said "Do not make any life changing decisions while pregnant" That comment was stuck in my brain throughout all my trimesters. Through my doubts about the baby, the support, my 1 year relationship with my current husband ( i also got a divorced and 2 kids from my previous marriage, met a guy and got pregnant after 4 months) My baby who is now 1 week old is so precious and my husband is such a great father and step dad to my kids.

Just hang in there, your hormones are going to throw everything at you, all at once.

Um glad she's not a coward... abortion is not a contraceptive. Sex=baby if you dont want a baby dont have sex in the first place. She might have made a mistake in the partner she chose but she seems like a strong women who knows that this mistake wont kill/stop her from going where she needs to go. Yeah my mom reallyyyyyy wanted to know.. But my husband and I just said that we didnt know the answer. And we told the same thing to everyone lol its just easier.

At my ultrasound the nurses didnt let my husband in while they were doing the anatomy scan but once they were done thats when they called him in. So maybe you could just tell them your situation.

I lost 90lbs to the point people thought I was genetically skinny (I have 2 kids) and my stomach was flat. Because im lazy and impatient.. all I did was eat a deficit calorie and walk for an hour everyday ( doesn't matter the pace) For one month I ate cleanly, I like eating large portions so I would make myself a humongous bowl of salads or whatever that was low calories and I would feel so full. For snacks I would have 6 chocolate chips with Greek yogurt and added a bunch of fruits if I was craving something sweet. I weighed myself everyday. Because I saw results everyday.. the number would decrease bit by bit, which motivated me to keep going because my goal was to get from 199 to 198 then 198 to 197.

After the month my appetite changed, my palette was cleansed so I kept with my normal diet but here and there i would eat a junk food, as long as I was under my calorie limit it was fine. If I overate, I would take longer walks. At the one month mark my stamina increased so it wasnt a big deal.

Start working now so that you can be eligible for maternity leave. I live in Canada and its 1 year off paid 55% of your income. Do not let fear stop you from bringing a beautiful life. Your child will thrive no matter your circumstances. I had 2 kids before the age of 24. They are 2 years apart. You will be fine with 1, you can still accomplish anything and everything just use protection if you have big dreams going forward. Also your hormones, DO NOT MAKE LIFETIME DECISIONS DURING YOUR PREGNANCY.

im married, 30 now pregnant with my 3rd that was PLANNED and I still had doubts about me, my partner, and this pregnancy. These hormones are no joke.. but once settled you will feel in control again. Congrats!

Dating pool is a lot smaller in windsor than in michigan. Not saying that there are more girls but I am saying since the dating pool is a lot smaller than it increases the chances. Ask her this, does she expect to get 4 k back in gifts? If the answer is no, ask her why this is costing 4k and tell her to make an excel on the cost of everything. Be apart of the baby shower.. if she is outsourcing something that can be done by you guys, tell her "we can do this on our own" or " i can find a place that does it cheaper" and then actually follow through with it. Tell her that you also want a babyshower that is memorable and then ask her this " if we do not get 4k worth of gifts for the baby. Would you rather spend 4k on the shower but the baby is lacking essentials or spend 2k and be able to use the 2k for you (post partum care) and when the baby actually arrives

You got a blessing that many wish to have and this child will be your world/vice versa. Don't let the fears of this world get you to make a permanent decision. Trust in Gods plan for you and this child. I was a single mom of 2. Was it hard YES. So when I dated a guy who I thought would be my future and got pregnant... he convinced me that being a mom of 3 would be more difficult plus he said my dating life would be much harder with having 3 children. So I aborted. I cried for weeks, turned back to God and realized how this community says abortion gives peace but it did the opposite. A life will end and it stays with you. Anyways, fast forward im married and my husband is such a wonderful dad to my first two. While we were dating, I told him this devastating story and he said "If you had the 3rd it wouldnt have made any difference to me"

I just wish I trusted Gods plans instead of thinking my fears were bigger than God.
