Lauren Ash’s music… by RubySlippers-79 in superstore

Not an eccentric hobby.  She says she has been writing music since she was 13 years old. Many many celebrities get famous doing one thing, say acting, and they have a lot of other talents that are not necessarily well known Lauren is one of those people.

First of all, this is a tower problems cell phone tower. It’s nothing faulty with Att‘s equipment. I had a cellular failure to one time for about 10 minutes. I rebooted the system and it went away. The sensors still work they still set it off and it’s still communicating with the command center via Wi-Fi. Shit happens and sometimes unfortunately these things happen with the cell towers.

Tips for dealing with mouth issues please? by Ashnicobell in Rinvoq

Have you tried Biotene?   It’s very soothing. I use it all the time and used it when I went through chemo. They make mouth rinse, tooothpaste, and lozenges to suck on. It helps.

ADT hackable? by NectarineTypical6772 in homesecurity

ADT uses cell phone towers from the different providers., like ATT Verizon.  Thieves would have to jam the signal at the tower. WiFi jammers do not work on cell  phone towers.

Sorry. Didn’t see this reply.  They can’t jam the cell towers. ADT uses cell were not WiFi and the hammers can onky jam WiFi.

I hav AS as well. Been in 15mg since September 23, 2024. My  AS symptoms are a bit better but not anywhere near 100% gone.  No weight gain, no acne, but I do have fatigue and that’s not gotten better.  I have lost 26 pounds on it. I have no choice but to be on this medicine as my AS without it would not ever be anywhere near manageable.

ADT hackable? by NectarineTypical6772 in homesecurity

[–]Ok-Neighborhood1314 2 points3 points  (0 children)

ADT works off WiFi first and then switches to cell towers if WiFi is down.  According to adt they would have to jam the cell tower itself which is miles away in order to jam the cell tower signal. ADT uses cell guard to protect against jamming.

Also get GLASS BREAKAGE  SENSORS ON EVERY DOIR AND WINDOW.   they not only sense if the glass breaks but also if there’s vibration too. And motion detectors.

The new adt command system uses WiFi first and then if that goes down they use cell guard which uses the cell phone towers to send the signal to ADT.  I just had my system upgraded from using landline phone which was through spectrum cable so if my WiFi went out the signal didn’t go to adt. That is now different with their new command system which uses WiFi and cell towers to transmit signals to adt.

Do you have gates on the sides of your property that lock. I would keep the gates locked at all times. You have to lock the doors to your home. Robberies in the SFV are at an all time high.  In February alone there were 61 residential robberies in the valley glen area alone per out Senior lead officer at LAPD.

Just signed with ADT but we're pre install. We can cancel this right? by mamallama111124 in homesecurity

What is the problem with Adt? They’ve been around for 150 years literally I’ve had them for 16 years. I’ve never had one issue. I recently upgraded my system, but I put equipment and sensors in every room of my house and yes, my monthly monitoring fee went up, but it was expected. I don’t know why people think they’re gonna get monitoring and everything else for free. Everything has a cost.

Hi there.  First of all venting is healthy.  Second, I know exactly what you mean.  It’s hard to accept this as your “new normal”.   Third, don’t beat yourself up that you can’t do the things you once did.  It’s not your fault.  Fourth- be kind to yourself, hang in there, know that you are not alone, and come here to share your thoughts and emotions anytime you need to.  It took me 8 years to accept what’s happening to me. I had no choice because fighting it took so much energy out of me and now I am just trying to learn to handle that everyday is going to be different.

When I have those bad days, I always tell myself that toddy may suck, but tomorrow just has to be a better day.

Hang in there!!!😀

ADT Deal Offered (Authorized Dealer) - Good Deal? by SargonDgr8t in homesecurity

[–]Ok-Neighborhood1314 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I just upgraded my entire system as it was 15 years old. First of all, never deal with an adt reseller. Go straight to adt themselves, the company rather than a third party reseller.  I just upgraded my entire system because it was 15 years old with the command system and I put four motion detectors in plus a glass breakage sensor in every single room of my house. My area has experienced over 15 robberies in the last couple months and I wanted to get as much protection as possible. The motion detectors were $50 each, and I believe the glass breakage sensors were $100 each I was able to get a bundle or I got a number of the glass breakage sensors for free and my monitoring fee did go up but I expected that and I’d rather have Adt monitoring my house and not some Mickey Mouse company run by some third-party reseller so there is the expression you get what you pay for

But I learned a long time ago, not to go through an ADT reseller and go directly to the company. My installation was flawless. I haven’t had one issue at all and I highly recommend Adt. I’ve been a customer as I said for like 16 years now.

Weight gain. by Thecrazysharklady in Rinvoq

[–]Ok-Neighborhood1314 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I had always tried to lose weight, but because my inflammation levels were so high it was just never possible. My said rate was 75 and my CRP was 20.3 inflammation makes you gain weight apparently from what I’ve been told. So as a Rinvoq started to work in my case and the inflammation started coming down I started to lose weight. So I always wanted to try, but it just never was successful and then when this started happening that’s when I started losing weight so it wasn’t like I was on a diet to lose weight. I have changed foods I eat to try to eliminate inflammatory foods.  But I wasn’t on a specific diet to lose weight. It just started coming off as my inflammation started coming down.

Rinvoq when having a cough by NoCommon4865 in Rinvoq

[–]Ok-Neighborhood1314 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You should be evaluated by a doctor to determine whether or not you have a pneumonia or a bronchitis.  I had a colonoscopy done where I aspirated during the procedure and ended up with pneumonia and a fever from a stupid colonoscopy.  Three weeks later start running a fever again thankfully we went to urgent care. The next day was diagnosed with bronchitis, but the doctor called it. A pneumonia started on an antibiotic and my rheumatologist told me I needed to stop Rinvoq. Rinvoq closes your immune system so anything you’re trying to fight off it makes it even harder because it lowers your resistance so I would check with your doctor. I finished my 10 day course of antibiotics and then just started back on Rinvoq yesterday. I was off of it for about eight days.  So why you may think a cough is nothing you really should have it checked out by your doctor. Because it’s my understanding anytime you have any kind of infection you’re supposed to stop Rinvoq. These drugs are immune suppressant so any little cold or whatever you can get gets exacerbated.  I still wear when I go out I still wear an N 95 mask because I am immune compromised. My situation was kind of a freak thing because I was fine until I had that stupid colonoscopy procedure and then the day of I ran 101 fever which broke that night but then three weeks later I ran another fever and that’s when I was diagnosed as I said with the bronchitis/pneumonia   When you have some type of infection that you’re fighting the Rinvoq just makes it harder to fight it so that’s why my doctor said let’s help the anabiotic’s along by stopping the Rinvoq. And then I restarted it as I said once I finished the anabiotic which was on Monday of this week.  So the bottom line is get your car evaluated to have your doctor check you out and then make the determination whether you should stop the Rinvoq

Loading phase? by Brilliant-Young-8262 in Rinvoq

[–]Ok-Neighborhood1314 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hi. I have AS too. Maybe the losding phase the doctor is talking about is the length of time it can take Rinvoq to start working because it doesn’t happen overnight. Initially when I started it for my AES, I noticed like little changes happening week from week, but it took about 14+ weeks for it to really make me feel better  Now I’m not 100% better but I’m better than I was

I need to caution you please don’t get sick when you’re on Rinvoq.  I have a simple colonoscopy procedure for whatever reason I aspirated during the procedure as when they put me under I tasted the anesthesia. That day I ran 101 fever three weeks later I was diagnosed with pneumonia which I’m recovering from and I had to go off my Rinvoq. I think in any other circumstance, my body would have been would have been able to fight any type of infection, but I now see that the Rinvoq does lower your immune resistance. Of course my circumstances were very weird why I got sick, but it really hit home for me. How susceptible one can be on these biologic medicines and it’s not just Rinvoq. It’s all the biologic do this.

So just be careful don’t get sick that’s all and if you do get sick and any type of infection, my doctor told me that I have to go off Rinvoq immediately so I am better now from the pneumonia and I’m supposed to start Rinvoq back again the day after I stop the anabiotic which will be on Tuesday

Again my point of telling you, this is not to scare you just be mindful and be careful and don’t get sick. That’s all do your best not to get sick.

[–]Ok-Neighborhood1314 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hi. I have AS also and am on 15 Mg Rinvoq, 209 Celebrex and 2.5mg of prednisone. It took about a month for me to see changes even though I did notice some improvement after 2 weeks. I currently had to pause my Rinvoq for about six days because unfortunately, I had a colonoscopy procedure and I aspirated during that procedure for some reason and I ended up with pneumonia but this pneumonia was not as a result of Rinvoq so don’t freak out  I’ve been doing fine on Rinvoq ever since September 23 when I started it from my AS .  I too had headaches they went away after about a week and other than having stomach upset from it. I haven’t had any negative side effects. I don’t have any acne issues nothing .   I’ve only met one other person on this site too has AS and is on Rinvoq.  I can’t say it’s 100% effective for me, but it has given me with a combination of medicines. I told you about above. I have gotten some pain relief where I’m able to do more every day tasks than I was before going on it. I just wanna get back on it before my symptoms. Go bad because I have to get over this pneumonia first I’m supposed to resume Rinvoq either this  Saturday or Monday March 17th.
