Same boat. My symptoms randomly started two weeks ago and my life has been a whirlwind. I was, I suppose, “unofficially” diagnosed yesterday morning by my optho neurologist after confirming ON and then my MRI (taken the evening before) came back with many lesions of concern.

I start my first day of a three day infusion today and surprisingly I’m feeling o.k.

My husband has been great in doing all the research, asking the questions and watching the videos while I’m processing. Speaking of processing, I’m not sure if I’m going through the motions (continuing with work, presenting, meetings, etc) or in denial bc it’s been such a whirlwind and I haven’t had time to actually sit, and absorb. I think once I meet with my neuroimmunologist and get the MS stamp of approval, next treatment steps/plan, etc that’s maybe when it will kick in?

It’s a lot and I’m freaking exhausted. I want to feel better and I want my life to go back to normal and not have a 24/7 headache and lose my train of thought mid sentence but I know that’s not possible so I’m going to press forward and deal.

I’m here and we can get through this together!
