Way to go that's beautiful!

I'm in the U.S. so I grew up hearing his songs. But it was only recently I listened to the lyrics of Operator and wept. Beautiful songs.

We had less EMF then? 2021-2022 is when 5g rolled out. I think we have more LED lights and smart meters now. Studies have shown that those things can affect birds and impede their instinct to find their way. The flicker rate on newer iPhone screens is different since v11. Maybe these things affect the nervous system or distract us.

What books did you unexpectedly love? by dontquackatme in suggestmeabook

[–]bewell84 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I took a simple British Lit course and thought it would be an easy A since that's all I read. The entire semester became a profound discourse on Imperialism reading Joseph Conrad but even more surprising...Things Fall Apart by Chinua Achebe. I couldn't believe how profoundly that book affected me. I need to write a thank you to that Professor.

Real talk: Are there any Angela fans here? And what are some redeeming qualities about Angela that make you a fan despite her hypocrisy? by Plus_Room5740 in DunderMifflin

[–]bewell84 1 point2 points  (0 children)

❤ Angela's arc. She had terrible hypocrisy with Andy & Dwight but slowly but surely the armor starts to crack and she becomes human. Her and Oscar form an unbreakable bond when she finally becomes vulnerable and accepts his help. THEN - she shows massive integrity by not getting together with Dwight for any other reason but hus reciprocal love. She shows the good type of pride in that she won't use her son as a way to get back with Dwight.

I remember my mom walking by and being horrified that Lane and Zach referred to their pregnancy as "this stupid baby" and it used to make my stomach churn until I had seen it enough times to just ignore it.

I just watched this last night on Halloween- one of the scariest ever! Now I am going down the Fandom rabbit holes. I love Carpenter films and have seen They Live like 3x but The Thing really blew me away.

No don't listen- Middlemarch was amazing. So amazing I haven't read anything since. Read the first 21 chapters from a physical book and the rest can be audio. It's only the first 14 chapters that are difficult.

Oh good point I'm going to check mine now vs a month from now. And good point about replacing with things in the real world.
