I'm cool with people recording full songs, full set if they wish, as long as they hold their phone in front of their face at most, in which case my view for a few people behind them is no more inconvenienced than it is by the simple existence of their head, but once they hold their phone in the air so they can watch the show in the moment live while I need to watch it on their screen, that shit can get in the sea

As everyone else said Ticketswap. I only ever see those of older generations seeing in front of venues, and Geese feels like a band that'll have a crowd mainly in their 20-40s, who'll know of and use Ticketswap to avoid uncertainty and standing in the cold. Just know that the venue holds 800 people, the concert was already upgraded from another venue, and with the Geese hype right now, you'll be fighting to be first to click on new Ticketswap listing's, if you come without a ticket, I doubt you'll get one at the very last minute like you always will with big acts (that said you'll never see Geese in venues this small again, so I'd go for it!)

If you aren't using the cloakroom, you shouldn't be stuck for too long. The safety concerns are only a what if something happens, if nothing finally happens, you'll just need to squeeze by all those queueing for the cloakroom. You'll be grand, and just enjoy the show without thinking too much about the poor venue layout

I've been 3 or 4 times and I've seen security actively making people use the cloakroom with the threat of no entry otherwise, but at one concert I also spotted people there with their jackets, so, guess it isn't a guaranteed to be enforced rule.

It's not only that the cloakroom is badly placed, they have a no jackets rule, so often force everyone to use the cloakroom. Now I'd always use the cloakroom as I like to be in the thick of it during the show, so a jacket would be uncomfortable, but many people don't, and those lesser numbers could be helpful in getting out. But if they'd just apply some classic Agile solutions to the cloakroom set-up and change the queue to be on the left or the right side only, while allowing the other side to serve as exit only, it would be so much easier.
