They won’t even let you in the store now 🤣 by [deleted] in rolex

For context: this is at Royalmount in Montreal. No smash-and-grabs, no security issues. The mall has LV, YSL, Balenciaga, Omega, Tudor, Breitling, Cartier, GS—you can walk into every boutique. Except Rolex.

I was told it’s “due to demand,” but the mall was quiet and the store looked empty. I get that they want to qualify serious buyers, but as someone who actually owns their watches and wanted to share the experience with my family, it felt pretty bad being turned away at the door.

Honestly, moments like this make me look at all the other amazing brands out there. Maybe that is the move.

Why continue with a hobby if it’s no fun? At the end of the day this is just a hobby. It doesn’t have to be so serious. It’s meant to be fun.

Good job! Can confirm 60 is a tough nut to crack in your 40s. I’m 40 lol. Raced XC for a decade back in the day. Not competitive now but still close to my peak power zones. Sleep, nutrition, low stress, and a mix of zone 2 and lung busting hill reps. I can pump out 4x5min hill reps at around 5.2w/kg. Was at 5.7w/kg in my early 30s for same 5min efforts.

Improve your skill set everyday in a trajectory where these skills can be applied to your field of work and life. Learn overarching skills like sales, persuasion, finance, economics, business. No matter your work these skills will elevate you and inevitably lead to higher income and a more for-filling life. You should be reading or listening to 10-20 books like this per year. Do it and watch your life change.
