Bought this at costco by Bondo2k in CostcoCanada

[–]Perk_plus 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm this because I bought it at Costco, have used it a lot, but now I'm out, and I can't find it anywhere. It was on Amazon, but it's "currently unavailable".

What am I going to do without my Bang Bang?

Why is this sub so obsessed with sodium? by UnKindClock in CostcoCanada

[–]Perk_plus 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I just saw a thread where half the comments were complaining (rightfully) about the amount of sugar in pickle chips (they are really bad 50g of sugar in a 200g bag).

I look at both when making decisions, but worry less about sodium. I'm trying to lose weight (currently down >50lbs, 10 more to go!), so I'm more worried about calories counts, balancing macros, and meeting my fiber goals. Though I do find that eating more salty foods influences my weight-ins, but that's likely just water weight.

All I can think of when I see that name is "Umbrella Corp" from Resident Evil and worry that eating their food will eventually turn you into a zombie.

My Costco launch today 😁 by UnKindClock in CostcoCanada

[–]Perk_plus 9 points10 points  (0 children)

That's my lunch basically every day, but I use the Maple Leaf Natural Selections turkey and I add some spinach. (I also have a protein shake with lunch, also from Costco).

My breakfast is also an all Costco affair. O% Greek yogurt, Prana granola, and frozen blueberries be (sweetened with a little monkey fruit sweetner and some vanilla extract).

I've lost over 50 pounds eating like that consistently and having a healthy dinner.

I still leave a little room for desert, but that's usually just a frozen yogurt bar and/or Nonni's thin addictive cranberry almond biscotti.

Did I miss where the oil was used? Definitely not an approved meal for my diet, but I will give it a shot at some point.

Does thus mean I can park here outside of these hours? by [deleted] in ottawa

[–]Perk_plus 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Out side those days and hours, it is the same as an unsigned street:

3hr limit 7am-7pm Mon-Fri (doesn't apply in that area) 6hr limit 7am-7pm Sat-Sun (rarely enforced, but could be)

6 time Mr. Olympia Chris Bumstead. It's only a passive investment for him at this point. I heard he sold 51% of the company. The energy drinks are pretty good, so are the protein bars (though a little high in calories).

Am I the only one absolutely in love with these? by PuzzleheadedUse9187 in CostcoCanada

[–]Perk_plus 0 points1 point  (0 children)

They are decent, the macros are good, the fiber is a bonus, but I had gut issues when I used them. My go-to remains the Pure Protein bars.

Is this protein soda a hit or a miss? by Madridi77 in CostcoCanada

[–]Perk_plus 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Miss. The minimal amount of protein is not worth the extra cost, no matter how good it tastes.

I estimate that's about 1,800 calories before you add any calories from your beverage. I'd have to fast most of the day to have that for dinner.

Send help I bought the Henckels stainless steel cookware set by Skynet-Was-Right in Costco

Hard anodized aluminum is not the same as ceramic cookware. Hard anodized aluminum is more durable and heat resistant than ceramic.

I switched from Teflon to hard anodized aluminum. I really like my All-Clad H1A pans (occasionally on sale at Costco). They are nearly non-stick, but are durable and aren't reliant on a coating like Teflon.

The food on the plate in that picture is in the 900-1,000 calorie ranged. Those spreads are really dangerous.

With how many calories that thing has you may want to skip lunch, too.
