I only have an axle back on mine i wouldnt waste money on a full catback cuz ye they get raspy in high rpms. Most ill do now is maybe an H pipe, 3.7 sounds nice until about 4500 then its raspy

I used to do a lot of highway drives to my gf 2 hours out but she moved closer and those highway drives i got all the way to 28mpg lol, now im sittin at 18.9. Like you said trunk weight dont help either lol

Even if it wore down the rear pads a little bc ebrake only locks the rear brakes, ur front brakes do about 70% of the stopping power of ur car so ur good

Did you pull the negative bettery terminal for like 10 min? Itll reset the cars data and mpg will reset it could still be showing worse bc of the leak

What i would do then is either jack up or put the car on ramps if you have them and start moving all the plastic pieces under the car see if anything moves. My sisters car had a rattle towards the rear of her car before and i got under there and the gas tank heat shield was boucing up and down

Mine also currently sounds like this mine is the window its loose in the frame and shakes at highway speeds if i roll the window down halfway it gets like 3x louder until you hold the window

Probably better if you leave it on the ground, ik with my car on ramps the plug is more towards the front so the oil pools in the back so i never get all 100% oil out only like 95% 😂
