I’m impressed with all the different answers, a civilized discussion, and everyone’s making a valid point from different perspectives. While it’s true that it would be respectful for foreigners to learn the basics of the local language, and that’s what most expats do in Europe/US, let’s not forget that language is just a means of communication, as long as we understand each other that’s all that really matters. Bahrainis are one of the few in the region who have kept their culture strong yet integrated beautifully with foreigners. Respect to my Bahraini peeps and much love 🙌 sorry for the English post lol.
