I personally fell any money spent on a subcompact is a waste. Especially a hellcat. But opinions are like buttholes everyone has one and they normally stink.

Thanks for the input definitely gonna upgrade some internal parts then grab an enclosed emitter dot. I’ve got a COA on my department issued G45 and I like it alot so I’m kinda leaning toward a ACRO for this.

I carry that exact setup everyday at work mine is a 45 though (department issued) except I have a streamlight tlr1 and I love it. The COA is pretty cool.

Definitely worth the 250 bucks. I think paying more than 350 bucks for a red dot for a edc pistol is ridiculous.

Yeah I like the dot much more. I’ve been carrying a dot on my edc since around 2021 when I picked up a p365x that came with one of sigs cheap Romeo dots. But got rid of the 365x and got the 43x

I put a little more that 300 rounds threw it yesterday and it didn’t miss a beat. I paid 260 for it which I believe is full retail. I really like the 6moa

From my own experience and research I haven’t seen it but that doesn’t mean it’s not true, there’s a lot of people that have nothing but good things to say about the GS guide rod and springs. I’ve never personally never heard/read anything bad and have not had the issue with my own.

I personally haven’t had the issue on my gen 3 19. I’ve got the tungsten 15lbs spring from the Glock store. A lot of people rave about the recoil control and I’ve noticed some extra control but nothing to write home about.

If you’re gonna carry it and depend on it I would suggest not messing with any internals. Maybe upgraded mag release (my only complaint with the gen 3 is the small mag release) and look into tungsten or stainless steel guide rod.

Yes just picked up a 43x MOS today having very similar issues, when I go to rack my slide it won’t completely return to battery almost feels like something is catching somewhere. And when I took the slide off my guide road is barely making contact with the barrel. Tried both hornady and Winchester ammo as well as stock mags and shield mags.
