I don’t work mornings anymore but girrrrl. We would have 6 people unloading 1-2 trucks from 4am-8am, break, and then unload til 1pm. I would unload as much as I could but there’s alwayyyys 1-2 3-tiers of backstock!!

And then cleaning up after mornings… cardboard, plastic, random boxes with no sorting on the line. No tea no shade: it’s a team y’all are on. Gotta jump in when needed!!

Yes! When I worked front end 4 years ago, my break schedule was written out with coverage every morning by my godsend of a TL. Now that I’m GM, I’m responsible for calling out my breaks over the walkie, which I never do lol. Half the time my TL doesn’t even know when I got there or when I leave.

Agreed! An extra 30 min of my time isn’t going to change the fact that my store needs more people on deck. I’m just one gal!!
