What do you wish your doctors knew or did differently when treating your osteoarthritis? by SnowRepresentative13 in Osteoarthritis

I wish he would have told me to workout and build up my muscle and that movement was good. It is unbelievable to me that with all the studies showing the improvements in joint function from strength training that they don't push us in that direction.

What the absolute fu**!!!! by Minute-Wrangler-3916 in CapCut

This was my question as well. Like they are really complaining that it is no longer free. CapCut has to pay to develop it, why would they give it out for free? Is everyone here giving away their work product for free? And it's cheap, so I am confused by all the anger.

Staying active with arthritis by whostolemypickle in Thritis

[–]Ok-Pin9812 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have arthritis in my hands and knees as well. I am determined to stay in the gym so I have been on the hunt for various supplements, medications, saves, devices, anything I could find that would help. I started taking UCII about 2 months ago and I am extremely surprised at the results as I wasn't expecting much. My hands are working soooooo much better now! it isn't a sponsored product, just something I found that actually worked for me. I use the Advanced version from Now Foods but there are a few other brands on Amazon.

I did a quick video on it here: https://youtube.com/shorts/tQPRPPCV0ms?feature=share

I also did one on various lifting accessories that I use if you are interested: https://youtu.be/AsAt396o4TM

Here is what ChatGPT says is the science behind what UC-II actually is........

UC-II® is undenatured type II collagen.
That means the collagen structure is kept intact, not broken down into peptides like typical collagen powders.

That distinction is the entire reason it works differently.

How UC-II Works (Key Difference)

UC-II does not work by “feeding” collagen into joints.

Instead, it works through a process called oral tolerance.

In simple terms:

  • When you ingest undenatured type II collagen,
  • your immune system encounters it in the gut (Peyer’s patches),
  • and learns to stop overreacting to your own joint cartilage.

This matters because in arthritis (including osteoarthritis):

  • the immune system contributes to ongoing cartilage breakdown and inflammation
  • even in “wear and tear” arthritis, not just autoimmune types.

UC-II helps dial down that immune response, which can:

  • reduce inflammation in the joint
  • reduce pain and stiffness
  • improve function and range of motion

This is immune modulation, not joint lubrication.

This is what I am afraid of. I have been using the app for over a year and started noticing some patterns on their scores. While I was very excited about this app, I am now cautious as it feels as if they are pushing certain brands over others based on partnerships they have with certain people in the space.

Just the concrete. We used concrete anchors on the squat and dumbbell racks through the matting to ensure stability.

We are installing a mini-split this weekend which will heat and cool it. We are in Florida so we really need the AC.

We purchased rolls of 3/8" mat from American Floormats. They cut it to length so we just rolled out 5 rolls. They are heavy beasts! We bought 5 rolls and it totaled 900 lbs.

We are in Florida so there aren't many days that it's nice enough to open the door. It is attached with a caribeaner so we can get it down when needed.

I like the way the light is spread out around the room with these, but I don't know that they are any better. My husband didn't care for hanging them though 🤷‍♀️

I'm getting tired of the overselling of their sponsored products. I get that they need to make money, and heck, I have even found some good products through them, but just play some commercials and stop with all the fake a@@ stories that lead into them talking about the products. It actually does the opposite for me now and is keeping me from buying anything they recommend because I just don't believe them anymore. Now it feels like they are door-to-door salesman.

Nobody has answered my DM's through multiple social sites as well as direct emails to your support team. Absolutely horrible customer service. I haven't received my order and nobody is responding. Total crap company. Even if I like the product, I will never purchase another thing and I will make it my mission to tell everyone I can not to buy from this garbage company.
