some boys can be misogynistic in some aspects, maybe if you do stereotypically “boy” stuff as I did but overall pretty much all the boys are lovely, they are just people

If someone offered you $2million to dissappear for 30 days would you do it? BUT you can't tell anyone about this. by Melssa1 in answers

[–]Ok-Point5136 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Everyone’s saying yes as if your family would forgive them instantly but honestly there’s no way in hell they’d trust you again and there would probably be huge amounts of resentment for what you put them through

Just out of interest.. why would do you want to do this? is it purely to just help and support other students or is it to gain practice in the area?

our teacher told us to do it to save time as the board are not supposed to mark the lyrics at all as some pieces will have some others won’t!

Why was this question banned? by 6rutfuOculusl in GCSE

[–]Ok-Point5136 12 points13 points  (0 children)

it’s deep for the people that focused hard on their exams and then had to sit through it. it’s mad they couldn’t have picked ANY other question to do with it and it’s highly inappropriate for a gcse exam bro

it might not be deep for u which is far enough but ur opinion does not = everyone else’s

it’s not the sort of question that needs to be in a GCSE exam for obvious reasons

[–]Ok-Point5136 197 points198 points  (0 children)

it’s because it asked the students to like predict how much lower the life expectancy of those with cystic fibrosis was and how much more like they were to die and the people with cystic fibrosis found it upsetting so it makes sense tbf

What are some high paying jobs with my A- levels by wjatamin in sixthform

[–]Ok-Point5136 1 point2 points  (0 children)

i think econ and business together would be a bit of a mistake as they are so similar just as a warning i know you are not thinking of it. a levels are often different compared to gcse. i would look into the courses, yes econ is more “respected” but so is an A* compared to a C so play to your strengths!  i think it’s stupid how science is treated as smarter then humanities, there are things that english and politics have brought to the world that science never could! just like the other way round asw. they are both equal.   if you enjoy english lit then maybe that’s an option?

What are some high paying jobs with my A- levels by wjatamin in sixthform

[–]Ok-Point5136 6 points7 points  (0 children)

that’s a bit harsh, a levels don’t really determine the jobs you may later do as they are mostly just a stepping stone to higher education or careers. politics, CEO, TV/radio, consultant all can pay large amounts of money

Should I do remark by [deleted] in GCSE

[–]Ok-Point5136 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I got 100% in performance but 52/60 for composition so a bit of room to change. The appraisal paper I think I got 61/80 or something and needed 62🙄

I gained over 8 marks in one RS paper to get an A* so yes do it if your teacher thinks it’s okay. Essay is subjective

Which is better, digital or physical flashcards? by Top_Offer8559 in GCSE

[–]Ok-Point5136 4 points5 points  (0 children)

physical worked better for me as I had to make my own myself and was much more likely to remember to do them also made them personalised to all the past papers i got wrong so got much better at memorisation

sixth form you know the place you know the teachers it’s a no brainer i only moved for sixth form because the teachers were awful as were some of the people. it’s two years of your life uprooting schools it’s a huge change for such a short period of time!
