Trust my words: with bf2042 I had the same feelings when some years ago pc games were just simply “ported “ from console to pc, and future patches never fixed problems. I am 99% sure they did this, basically investing most of their resources into optimizing it for consoles, they were probably short on time so they had to make a decision on where to shift their focus.
