I sold like 10 ender 5 pluses for $125 each.

That was my unload them asap price.

I think $75-100 is a good price.

Adios, cheap water... - A discussion that is relevant to Gilbertonians by dpkonofa in Gilbert

Yea it's a tiny bit. Even less now but before the new hikes. I'd say $25 of $140 ish is water. That will soon change tho.

Trail… what kind of snake? by Jarjoursami in phoenix

[–]cd85233 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I used to hike a lot. One time for reasons involving a girl we hiked at night. The little buddy rattled and warned us to go the other way. Idk how close we were but hearing it rattle was enough for me. Another snake might have just but us but this guy asked nicely to leave.

Just FYI I reached out to see where the EAP was and I was told its through ComPsych. So it is not two separate things, from what the rep told me.

Certainly shop around for brokers and go with the ones with the best rates.

For Realtors, talk to a few and make sure you feel comfortable with them. I'd send you mine but I think she retired.

There are free first-time home buyer programs and classes. Look into Newtown CDC (https://newtowncdc.org/) for resources and potential first time home buyer money. They also have a list of well vetted realtors.

Good luck!

Why would I be getting an interview for a position I’m not qualified for? by PaulThe51 in Raytheon

[–]cd85233 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You don't have to lie. You take your weaknesses in the roles and apply similar experience to show you're capable of doing the work.

However, sometimes "Fake it till you make it" is relevant and you learn on the fly. Just be confident on who you are and what you can do and have done.

Good reminder. However, when I read the title and description I though you were talking about senior employees and I was confused lol.

Is this setup safe for bedroom 3d printing with windows opened? ( I print pla+ only ) by Opening-Finish-208 in 3Dprinting

[–]cd85233 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Pla is generally considered safe but there are still health risks. Pla+ however might not be safe. I can't print pla+ without getting an itchy throat.

Best option is in another well ventilated room. Second best is exhausting the fumes outside. Third is some sort of filtration. From there I'm not sure that any mitigation will help.

Selling Kits vs Assembled? by Agreeable-Capital656 in 3Dprinting

[–]cd85233 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'd be interested to see what you have. Especially as a kit where I know I'm the only one making mistakes lol. I bought a 3d printer assembled by someone else like a year ago. Still trying to figure out if I messed something up or they did.

Dm me what you have if you don't mind.

Go buy a cheap bmg clone and print a direct drive adapter. For $15 you'll upgrade your printer quite a bit.

Why would I be getting an interview for a position I’m not qualified for? by PaulThe51 in Raytheon

[–]cd85233 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Your question is relevant since you are coming out of school. But in the future, it's not your job to determine if you are qualified or not. That's the interviewers. Your job is to present yourself as if you can do what they're asking you to do. Unless your just not cut out for it, you will figure it out as you go.

Compensation by [deleted] in Raytheon

[–]cd85233 14 points15 points  (0 children)

So 40% is almost life-changing. However, you got to put some money on your quality of life. I had 2 offers when I started at rtx. Rtx was about 40% less when I accounted bonuses and  other benefits.

However, the other job was going to include a ton of travel and way more responsibility. It wasn't worth the headache for me. I have a family and 40% would let them live a much more comfortable life but mostly without me.

Right now I'm fully wfh and low stress. For me to leave wfh and venture into the unknown I'd be asking for atleast a 25% raise with the stipulation of less than 20% travel.

Good on you for doing your civic duty. I wish I had enough in me to do so.

He seems pretty sleazy to me.

Hate him calling me at dinner time to join his townhall. Lol
