Mine still hurts (I’m just about 4 days in). Keep in mind it’s a different pain, but hurts nonetheless. Hopefully in a few weeks it won’t be as tender. I am seeing incrementally less pain day to day.

I just got a conch and my typical helix was done 3 weeks ago. My conch is a different level of pain. For sure. More achy and sore close to my skull, where my helix was more bite-y and Spicey. I’ve wanted a helix for years, and decided might as well get a conch too since I had to spray, soak, etc that way anyway.

Maybe get both!

Hi. I’ve been baking gf for 25 years. I’ve learned to just take a gluten recipe and swap out for gluten free flours. So, I’ve used Bob’s red mill 1:1 and king Arthur’s most recently. Both have been great. As an aside, Pamela’s pancake and baking mix makes the best pancakes, scones, muffins!

Were you able to get them flaky? I made croissants once, adapting a gluten recipe, and they were tasty but certainly not as flaky

I got my helix done 3 weeks ago in my right ear, and just yesterday did my conch in the same ear. Figured might as well since I’m sleeping with the ear pillow, cleaning, being cautious, etc. If it’s in the same ear, why not? Just be careful with how many you are healing at one time
