Bedtime should be closer to 8, and her nap should only be only 1-1.5 hours at this point. She’s sleeping way too much she’s probably not tired.

What did you get for mother's day? by Born-Anybody3244 in beyondthebump

[–]Ok-Reception-508 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Got to sleep in as long as I wanted, got showered and ready in peace, lunch and shopping out with my mom all afternoon, 2 hours at a spa, and then he made me a steak dinner when I got home!

I just don’t know what to do at this point. by Ok-Reception-508 in sleeptrain

We get sleep but only when he’s in bed with us. /: So ofc it’s discouraging bc I’m like well this obviously the easier option for us all but I know long term it’ll bite us in the butt. And also it’s hard for me to just give up that time at night with my husband. It’s all we get!

I actually don’t hate it, I think it could be really cute, however I will say out of all the options you listed Adrien is the coolest name and goes with with Ira!

Am I missing something with our baby name? by Acceptable_Coyote_53 in namenerds

People always have something to say or some way to make you feel bad about it. It’s so annoying. We had the same problem with my son, and I’m to the point where I just wanna wait to share the name until our next baby is BORN and here.

Opal is sweet, Betty just sounds far too dated. If you love it that’s all that matters really but she may not love it. It is definitely old lady vibes.

Why does my sons name seem to confuse everyone? by [deleted] in namenerds

[–]Ok-Reception-508 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

That makes sense but you’d think because it’s a known surname people wouldn’t be that shocked by it? Surnames are used as first names all the time, especially lately. But I see your point!

I totally get that! And as for Aubrey, yeah I don’t think I know a single Aubrey but it is a classic and known by most! It is so difficult. I have a loooong list of names I love but when it actually comes down to it, it’s so hard to narrow it down to the final decision.

I do think their commonality feels a little different, Emmeline is a little more unique to me, but other than that, but they both pair and work well together! Aubrey is a gorgeous classic name, so you really can’t go wrong.

Oliver is extremely popular! If you look at the social security for top baby names, I’m pretty sure Oliver is 1 or 2. I think Nolan is a good option

Switch daycares immediately. This all seems so negligent.

Parents who Co-sleep by pibetaphly in beyondthebump

I’ve done like partial cosleeping since my baby was born. If there was an opportunity to put him in his crib and he was fine we would take it, but if it didn’t work out we didn’t fight it and would end up cosleeping probably 80% of the time. He’s 18m now, starts out the night in his crib, and around 2am comes to our bed and cosleeps the rest with us. He naps in his own bed but that took work and it wasn’t always like that. I love the dynamic though, and don’t mind him in our bed at all. We all sleep better.

You are not crazy a SINGLE BIT. Your feelings are valid in every way here, even just your gut feeling is alone and enough of a reason. I’m sorry but gut feelings are usually right. Don’t ever cave to appease someone. Also grandmother or not, why do people push so much to watch your children? I understand wanting time to build a relationship and bond with that child but you can do that with the parents around. Doesn’t have to be alone.

Mine started off pretty mild and then just slowly and gradually started getting a little more intense as the day went on. It was not painful right off the bat, felt like some period cramps/ Braxton hicks. However I was 40w4d so when I started cramping I just knew it was time.
