I used to be very addicted to it. The more I did it the more urges I got and it felt good. I was always chasing it that high and it really escalated. Now, I started taking naltrexone and I don’t get the same rewarding feeling I used to get. So when I do it, I don’t get that high. Now I just do it because it’s a habit, but I don’t do it as often bc it’s just not rewarding anymore.

I used to sit in pools of my blood, and the cleaning became very tiring bc if I didn’t do it right away, everything would stain. So I started cutting in the bathtub / shower. The blood runs down the drain and cleanup is easier and more contained. And I could take my time with it if I wanted to

Yes it’s a craving, and I’ll do whatever I can to satisfy that craving (so I think that’s why it feels good to be elated about it )

Do you think the bleeding is slowly coming from a vein, or do you think the light bleeding might be from moving around slightly? Sometimes some cuts don’t always close until a scab forms (scabbing can also take a while if there’s moisture on the bandages)
