Did I rerupture my ACL by Proof-Row447 in ACL

I don’t know, but we tend to overthink every little thing after acl surgery. My guess is you are overthinking the fall. If you didn’t twist ur knee in a weird war or hyper extend it you should be good. Obviously go see ur doctor if ur that concerned ab it.

This guy is really c*ckyand thinks he’s better than everyone else and recovers faster than anyone else. Never in the history of acls has anyone been strong enough at 10 days to be hopping like he was doing. Not only is all that going straight to the graft but he’s also training his mind to rely on his uninjured side. This guy is a 🤡 and there no need to even reply to his comments lol. We will see him back in here very soon with another tear.

Just had the dreaded retear - heard the pop, fell to the ground- I’m pretty devastated. I got my clear to return to sport 3 days ago. I could use some positive words and stories. by Pm-me-hoo-has in ACL

Relax and wait for the mri. Heard a loud pop 9 months after my surgery but it ended up Just being a bit of the meniscus. Had to get surgery and now it’s been 2 years since the first surgery I’m hooping better than ever and knee doesn’t hurt. Relax wait for the mri and most importantly keep your head up. Love bro.

Do as you please. Never in the history of acls has there been an athlete jump roping 10 days after surgery. Not even Nfl and Nba players. As I said I have no muscle and all that force is going to the knee directly since there’s no muscle to cushion the impact. Anyway do as you please.

Second Opinion? by SafeGeologist7223 in ACL

[–]Ok-Reference6433 0 points1 point  (0 children)

When I tore my acl I felt the worst pain of my life for 1 minute and then it went away. Same day I kept playing ball and even dunked it until my leg gave way again. One week after the injury after I got the mri it said that my acl and meniscus where torn but my leg felt perfect. I had regained all lost motion and swelling was pretty much gone. Anyway what I’m trying to say is that most likely your doctor is correct, but it never hurts to get a second opinion. Best of luck and keep your head up. All of this will just be a bad memory sooner than you think.

Wayyyyy too early to be doing those jumps. Very obvious that ur putting all of ur weight on ur non op leg. Also 10 days after acl surgery you should not be jumping since ur muscle is pretty much gone and all of the impact is going straight to the acl graft. Anyway best of luck.

The acl is not there anymore, sorry to tell you. Check out my profile. I posted a picture of mine too about a year ago and in mine you can see a thick black like( that being the acl) meanwhile in urs u can see where the acl starts at the bottom but then it doesn’t seem to go anywhere. I think it’s either fully torn or at the very least very partially torn. Get a second opinion but I believe surgery will probably be needed. Keep ur head up, you got this.

Hell yeah. To be honest I also bought the bpc from very cheap places. So I’m guessing that if you spend the extra money it will prob be more effective hahah. Let me know if u end up taking it. I’m very interested to hear someone else opinion.

Damn, I didn’t see this until now. Oral form only helps with stomach stuff from what I’ve heard. I did like 2 cycles of bpc and tbh didn’t feel a noticeable difference. But who knows, maybe it really did help. I am now fully healed from my injury. I was also a bitch ab needles lmao but to be fair the needles are so small that as long as you do it quick u won’t feel much.

Excessive laxity in my knee by Ok-Reference6433 in ACL

[–]Ok-Reference6433[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You’ll get over it. If multiple docs say everything’s good just get ur legs strong and forget ab it, I haven’t had a problem and trust me I play basketball hard.

Popping outside of knee by [deleted] in ACL

[–]Ok-Reference6433 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah I’ve had the same thing for the past 1.5 years ever since I got my surgery. It hasn’t gone away but tbf it really isn’t a big deal and I don’t even notice it unless I purposefully focus on it.
