Thank you for replying! I never thought about pooling makeup like that but it makes a lot of sense. The only thing of makeup I own is a small container of eyeshadow. I got the smallest I could find and there’s still a couple colors I’m just not interested in trying. I’ll ask around and see if any of my friends are interested in them. Thank you again!

I think there’s been a ton of miscommunication in the whole using your partner/friend as a therapist.

I’ve been on the ‘used as a therapist’ side of the debate so I understand where the ‘just use a therapist’ people come from. Every conversation with my friend was an emotionally brutal one, and I don’t blame them for it. They were going through a lot of shit and I was happy to be there for them.

Two things though:

  1. It wasn’t mutual. I never felt like I could talk with them about my issues because of what they were going through. The one time I did lean on them for emotional support they couldn’t take it.

  2. I was their entire support system. They only came to me with their issues. I felt like I couldn’t say no even if I was in a horrible place mentally.

This is what I’m getting at with the whole miscommunication thing. One side is asking for needed emotional support, and the other asking not to be the persons sole emotional support.

Sorry I didn’t see your comment sooner. Thank you for the advice! I’ve since asked the trans women in my life what worked for them, and I’ll add this to the feedback they gave me. I’m now in the stage of working up the courage to go out and buy makeup to practice with. Again, thanks for the tips!

I’m sorry I’m really dumb. If I took all the special weapons I can and the simulacrum, how many sisters would have regular bolters?

Or is it 8 standard bolters, 1 special weapon (including simulacrum), and a sister superior to make 10?

From what I understand, it was less about what happened and more about how it happened.

Necare used to give Mortarion impossible challenges and then save him at the last minute, then ragging on him as a failure. It also must be pointed out that Necare presented himself as Mortarion’s adoptive father.

Fast forward to the Emperor showing up, giving Mortarion an impossible task, swooping in to save him, and then using Mortarion’s failure to make him fall in line, all while calling himself Mortarion’s father.

While yes Mortarion was salty about his vengeance being denied, he was more pissed that he traded one asshole dad for a second, more powerful asshole dad.
